Of course you can associate him with drugs but he is a musical mastermind and has come out with masterpieces.

@@jessica5497 true, and I think an unfortunate reality is that drugs open us up to those super strong emotions in a unique way which can bring even more out of a person. Your perceptions are all distorted and you're honestly somewhere else most of the time. Not attempting to romanticize drug usage either 😬but no I am a gigantic fan of Trent and his work, he is a one-in-a-million musical mastermind and a strong as hell human being for overcoming the shit he's gone through.

Trent is still my idol till this day the mans a musical genius and is the fucking king of industrial!!!! his music has gotten me through all the bullshit i deal with on a daily basis!!

I remember watching this intensely at 2 or 3 in the morning one day and feeling at peace. Weird times.

When I met him in Honolulu. His hair was red, not bright red, but not brown. It's a powder and pencil you can use on your stubble. His make-up artist does it.

i think you're wrong on that one, and right, all of his albums are ground breaking, no getting around that, you cant have the same sound, style constantly, you just end up like metallica, korn and all those other bands that lose their touch, i just love how he changes his styles up with each album. so they're all ground breaking.

wtf are you talking about? Year Zero was ground-breaking. Ghosts was interesting.. and the Slip was quite good, I don't really consider it an actual release since it's only 9 tracks, basically, and that it was released for free. I'm just waiting for his next major release.

Original Gothic Industrial rocker style. Right now its like he's conforming to everybody else (as of style) And slowly it might be his music, or maybe not. But I will say that's more unlikely.

He and Dennis Hopper got their noses from the same batch.

well i see what you mean but another thing is, having long hair does tend to get annoying, i just cut mine after 3 years, and he (to be honest) he looks odd buff and with long hair, to me it only works with skinny mud covered trent, not the buff family man we have now

I somewhat do see your point but one of the main reasons to listen and watch a live badass dark rock metal industrial show from one of your favorite rock idol, is to get out of that boring ordinary mainsteam lifestyle that you go through every fuckin day. And for a few times in your life, you get into an exciting badass stimulating fantasy!! I mean that in a rock and roll term not sex. :) I'm a very deep talker, excuse me. :)

I heard a story about Reznor n his buddies taking Manson out into the middle of nowhere, stripping him naked, blindfolding him and letting him find his way back. This was apparently right b4 Manson got big. Ne body else heard that story?
