Just for the record ARR Fans and a neutral fans never critiqued Harris because he delivered what a Shankar movie needs. Ani has failed miserably! May be Ani is a choice for a movie other than Indian..

Translated and what he wanted to say : Why to give more burden to Rahman sir as he's already into 3 movies production and his music composition for 2.0 movie was extrordinary and was totally different tech (he's mentioning abt that 8D audio tech), so i chose Anirudh as I liked his music more and it's like new style, obviously all other music directors are good so i chose anirudh over rahman else i would keep rahman sir only.

AR Rahman is good for songs, but BGM Illayaraja or Anirudh,, GV, D Imman etc. Film and music should mix equally.& it should elevate the movie to the next level eg Vikram's climax, Asuran, Kumki, or any Ilayaraj and Bharathi Raja combination 80's movies ..

It should be going along with the flow of the screenplay, Indian 1 end credits score made people sit and watch the entire end credits at theatres. Recent example is Aga Naga from PS1, I watched the movie twice at theatres just for the Aga Naga BGM

The audio rights amount to only a small fraction of the entire production cost and thus it makes no difference. Secondly, at the national level, Rahman's name fetches much more money. Already northies are shocked at the absence of Rahman in 'Hindustani-2'.
