Half the fun of watching this was seeing everyone in the chat discovering him for the first time lol
I spotted the twitch user at 13:20 saying "I wish there was a Tim and Marcin collab". Congrats your dream came true my guy, here is CLASSICAL DRAGON !! ahah
Polyphia is for sure a rabbit hole you want to fall down! I was absolutely fascinated and immediately obsessed when I first heard them...Incredibly innovative, like what am I even listening to?! But in a good way 😂
OMG!!! You should check out "Playing God "and " G.O.A.T" by them 👌👀

Defffff agreed, new viewer here and I love this dudes personality and attention to potentially useless details, the kinda stuff I notice too haha. Goat and playing god are the ones everyone knows that are good, I want him to hear like, culture shock, or nightmare
I had the pleasure to see Polyphia live and it was euphoric. Tim and Scott are just *chef's kiss*...and having a bassist and drummer that can match that. Highly recommend seeing them live!
The thumb thumping technique apparently he got from Tosin Abasi from animals as leaders it took him three months to learn it, but it was definitely worth it
Thank you 😂 I laughed so hard. I think this is my favourite reaction from you ever. Go for a double knockout, why don't you? Watch Classical Dragon by Marcin and Tim: A collaboration of two of the best guitarists of this age.
Amazing! You'll need to check out the collab with Marcin, who's a Polish Acoustic Guitarist and also amazing!
CLASSICAL DRAGON. Look it up its Tims latest song
so glad you got a chance to be introduced to Polyphia!! the next two songs i would most recommend you listen/react to next would be “Playing God” and “G.O.A.T.” the whole band is absolutely incredible

i would also highly suggest checking out an acoustic guitarist by the name of Marcin. He just came out with an original composition that features Tim Henson, titled “Classical Dragon”. get ready to have your mind blown again
Amazing artists!!! Steve Vai is a legend and their collaboration is awesome. Polyphia deserve more recognition. Thank you for checking them out. Tim collaborated with Marcin recently for "Classical Dragon" and is absolutely 🔥 🔥 🔥 Btw Marcin is another genius guitarist that will definitely blow your socks off😂
you need to check out tim's recent collab with marcin called "classical dragon". it's marcin's composition, so it's not exactly polyphia, but it's a fabulous song and they complement each other so well!
He has videos giving you a whole tour of his home studio(where he's playing in this vid) . You will fall off your chair and break things to see it all...his gear, his aesthetic, everything
Don’t know if someone already mentioned it, the trumpet at the end gives you the melody that the guys have been playing all along with variations. Pure genius.

and if you haven’t heard Brasstracks before (Ivan aka trumpet dude), he’s insane and it’s very on par with him and how he composes

@@naomigarrow4088 I can’t stand brass instruments (just grating on my nerves). So I checked Brasstracks with some trepidation and... I LOVE IT! Just love it. Period. Genius compositions. I’m so surprised... Thank you for the tip. It was gold.
Accent is on the second syllable: Puh LIFF ee yuh. They have some songs with vocal features, but I generally prefer their instrumental works. Check out Playing God, Chimera playthrough, Aviator, and recent live versions of Loud

Exactly, and it's a play on polyphony (puh-lih-fuh-nee). if you say poly fee a, you're missing the reference. its puh-lih-fee-uh
Just a couple days ago, Tim and Scott played 'Live' with Babymetal for the song "Brand New Day"...that song was from Babymetal's 3rd Album "Metal Galaxy" and the Album went to #1 in the USA in 2019 on Billboards "Top Rock Album" chart and #13 on the "Hot 200" chart!! Put your Kitsune UP!! Po!
Nice one man! you should definitely react to O.D (it's the song you saw Tim play) the drum playthrough by Clay Aeschliman their drummer. And yeah each member is a virtuoso of their respective instrument.
“Playing God” uses that nylon guitar for its entirety. Check that one out 🤘
Tim has inspired an entire generation of guitarist to stop playing guitar. I only really discovered Polyphia recently after seeing them live in Japan at FOX_FEST. They were extremely impressive live because they were able to play all these incredibly intricate riffs perfectly. I don't think I've ever been as instantly impressed by a guitarist as I was by Tim. When he's up there on stage, he just looks so relaxed and casual while busting out these insane licks. Dude has 99 Skill in guitar. If you get a chance, you should check out their collaboration with Babymetal on the song "Brand New Day", which they played live for the first time at FOX_FEST.
I love polyphia!! i saw them live at sonic temple!! you should definitely look at more of them:)
It's cool of Tim and Scott to let that nice man play the easy parts in ego death
tim henson and polyphia also collabed and toured with babymetal, tim also loves anime and jpop music and that's where a lot of his inspirations comes from because math rock is heavily prevalent in japan.
trumpit player at the end was BRASSTRACKS
You are so much fun to watch reacting!! You are sincerely blown away, and so honest about your feelings!! It’s very good! I came to watching Tim from MARCIN; their recent video together - Classical Dragon - is compelling and beautiful. They both play multiple guitars in it, and make a good team . I hope you check that out, as I see others have encouraged you to do the same. ❤️
you should listen to some of their older stuff with their old drummer, it's insane to me how much they've changed and grown as musicians since then.
I really like Polyphia band and Tim Henson. His right hand is absolutely magic.
Re. The visuals: That's all Tim. He is a visual artist as well as an amazing guitar player and composer. In fact he studied graphic design in college. He simply is who he is in the same way as prince was with a style all his own. He and the band really deserve more attention. Re. Ego Death: What most people don't catch at first is the symbolism of the throne as each takes his turn with rising levels as Tim places himself at the bottom level. And... Ego Taps. :) The Horn is guest artist Brasstracks who is featured on the first track of the album.
Tim is incredible he's 1 of the guitarist for the band Polyphia everyone in the band is amazing
Finaalllly I want people to recognise this band so much!!!
i would love to see more polyphia reactions. my favorite band ever
pops stumbled across a new band and immediately jumped on one of the best produced mv of the band 😂
ok....first I've heard the 'comes in slow motion but they aren't in slow mo" and it's a great take! So much depth to the music/creation process. Cool video on how he went to fiver to get someone to whistle a part that is in another big hit track.
Id love if you reacted to playing god and abc! Theyre my fave standalone and collaborative songs
Love when people try and pronounce Polyphia 🤣 you had it right the first time. Po-lif-ee-uh. Enjoy the rabit hole🕳 (edit didnt make it to the end but omg its the best seeing people react to Brasstracks just come in with no context) (Brass tracks is a seperate artist that was featured on the first song of the album and this one being the finale to the album)
Its actually Glay Gober, the bass player's chair.
Perfection.
If you enjoy this Im sure you'd like Ichika Nito and Manuel Gardner Fernandez. Each of them is unique but play in a similar vein.
Other comments have said it but the person in chat is wrong about how to say the band name. Its Puh-liff-ee-ah
Bro try learning one of there songs it's an amazing exprience to be humbled so badly. And it's puh-li-fee-uh
his ibanez tod10n is insane
Now you must watch GOAT and Playing God, both from Polyphia
Poe-li-fee-ah, had to hop in cuz the band has pronounced it plenty to be sure. Great reaction!
POLYPHIA MY BAND WOOHOOOOOO
Polyphia is jaw-droppingly impressive. Tim Henson is a beast, but the thing is, the others are equally incredibly talented, I mean they have to be, if only to be able to keep up with each others. Tim and Scott, the other guitarist, have known each other since they were kids, and they've been playing together for years. Here's a little fun vid for you if you want to see them as babies: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eoR4pattlNCdaLg.html&ab_channel=Lun%C3%86Guitarist Tim is quite eye-catching, and he has a YT channel, which has helped get them exposure. The background you were admiring is his own custom-made studio, which is any musician's wet dream. Actually, he made a video where he gives his fans a tour, let me find it for you... there: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hqKO1ZquqqTfd5s.html&ab_channel=TimHenson Other people in your comments have already suggested it, but yeah, you should definitely check Playing God.
Poly fee uhh lol😅, you said it right the first time

4:30 they told you the wrong pronunciation, the y sounds like the i in lit. Polyphia = po(lit)phia without the t. This is how the band pronounces it in multiple vids.
oh please react to all of tim henson unplugged versions of his songs, try neurotica, playing god, classical draggon, and any that you might find.
i found u cause of the military videos and now ur reacting to my favorite guitarist. definitely check out more from polyphia and tim
Love your personality and attention to odd details, def would love to see you check out more of their songs. Culture shock is my favorite 💪🏼🥰

But yeah it’s pronounced puh-lif-e-ya
Do Polyphia- GOAT and Polyphia- Playing God
Y eso que no ha escuchado classical dragon de Tim y Marcin
If you like tim/polyphia you should also check out berried alive. Some fun pun based guitarist music
I'ma be honest, as a longtime fan of the band, long before they blew up, there was a lot of wrong/questionable info in the chat during this stream. And the biggest that's going to irk me if no one corrects it is that the band is pronounced "Puh-lif-ee-uh". This is how the members of the actual band say it, and you can check by watching interviews. small edit: A lot of people get it wrong, and I think it's totally understandable. Because Polyphia is basically a made-up word derived from the musical term "polyphony": the style of simultaneously combining a number of parts, each forming an individual melody and harmonizing with each other.
I'm sure you've been corrected on it already, but it is actually pronounced poe liff eea
You kinda nailed the tim vibe I think. No one could really put a finger on it, but yeah.
Who doesn't know Tim Henson?

welcome into the polyphia rabbit hole
Now check out Ichika Nito!
Now that you have founbd Tim Henson and Poyphia, it is time you discover Matt Gartska and Animals as Leaders (If you havent already)
Try Playing God next! Incredible song. You’ll love it 🔥😀👍
Watch Yammandu Costa playing Samba Pro Rafa.
Do more polyphia please
Tim is sick... SICK... and Puurty. 🤣His titles are like that, he just posted a 'Ultraman' vid and started playing like he wasn't the musician. Polyphia makes good music, enjoy the journey. Listen to 'Playing God' 'Neurotica' '87' 'Hourglass' enjoy.
WATCH PLAYING GOD AND CHIMERA
omg i met this channel through kpop reactions but polyphia is genuinely one of my favorite bands EVER i'm so happy to see this!!!!
this guy is funny 😂
That person was wrong about the pronunciation of the band it’s pol if e a
pfiofffia cé drole en sale!!
It's PO LIFF EE Ah. 😂
He's wearing a mumu
Tim is kinda the face of the band and the household name, but the other guitarist is Scott Lepage, who is the better, if not just as good as Tim, but never gets recognized for it. Scott is the main character of this band for sure
Pole-if-ee-a, not polly-fee-ya
💜💜
it's puh-lyf-fia not poly-fee-uh smh
You there at minute 6:00 yeah thats me every time I see him hahaha
please do more polyphia videos!! like “so strange” has a guest artist that does vocals

Hi Roscoe, will you be continuing your reaction on KE British boys in Navy series? They've just finished the episode on testing the boys & visiting the ship, it's really cool
Fun fact: the first song O.D. was based on a Taylor Swift song structure and a Kanye West song chord progression!
NicoleMcRaven in Roscoe's chat at the end of the video. Your wish is granted, go enjoy the collab you wanted

Sleeping God is next level from them and highlights the bass player and drummer a bit better. Amazing song. Polyphia and Sleep token are rabbit holes I recent went down. They never sing but they sometimes have guest artists. Check out ABC by them ft Sophia Black
