To me, the last scene means that life, like neurons, only works well if you make connections/memories. The more you have, the best your life is. The child and the old man look like Hobi reviewing his life, satisfied with the big tree of memories/connections he got. Neuron, his former dance group, was the base to all of that (he said that in the docuseries). A beautiful way to honor them and, at the same time, tell us how dance is important in his life.

Neuron, his first Street dance crew 😊 I love all the album. This video is an art piece. It's my opinion: Jhope did another homage to Jcole or at least he was influenced by him. Just listen to JCole's Workout music notes in the chorus. YoonMirae talks about a T. It's her american nickname for Tasha (Natasha Shanta Reid). She is married to Tiger Jk. Do you remember Bukubuku?😅

Hello from your friendly neighborhood director slash j-hope bias! 💜👋🏻🤩 Here is my BU-ing of this MV... So, we know that Hoseok's early street dance crew is called Neuron, and Koreans love to wordplay so that's where we get "New Run" (from Neuron). We also know neurons are the active connectors in our body that make things happen / move. Alsoooo judging from Hobi's body of work, especially Jack In the Box lyrics, we can say he's trying to send a message about connecting humanity together. Okay, ready? The black and white monotone coloring hint to us about the past, and we also begin with an older gentleman looking through an old style camera. The little boy, similar to On the Street MV, could be said to represent little Hoseok of the past. He wanders the street and sees many different kinds of people doing many different kinds of things. He notices their faces and their feet, their hands, movement. The little boy seems to notice ways they're all connected -- like the artist sketch Roscoe pointed out and the zoom out to a universe level. Koreans also have this saying that each person has their own colors; it's like saying everyone is unique and offers something different. As little Hoseok walks the street, he sees pieces of color here and there... In the docu-series, we hear about how "dance is life." In the MV, we see the little boy dancing in front of all the people from the MV. It's as if they all influenced his life and his dance. They are all connected; dance and life connect in the movement. Now this piece I cannot claim for myself, but Pierre at Neon Reactions saw the MV and said the streets are like nerves and we are the neurons of humanity and life. I love that. The MV ends with more colors coming together. It's like an expression of how everyone in humanity helps "color" each other -- we all influence each other, we all cause the movement of humanity and the dance of life. The ending also shows the little boy reviewing all the pictures -- yes, I agree these are moments, reviewing the moments of our life. He's assisting with some kind of project. My theory about the older man is that he represents a figure similar to Father Time or even a Creator figure. Finally, the "new run" language - if you think about this a bit abstractly, as if you weren't a native English speaker, it could express the constant newness of the movement of life. Ok my morning brain is taking over, where's that cereal...?

Let's not forget his last MV connection too. This is like young JHope dancing on streets of Korea while that one was current JHope dancing on streets of NY. Even some scenes in there connect the two MVs.

If you've listened to Gaeko's rap, make sure to listen to the Dynamic Duo's songs. They are OGs representing Korean hip-hop. A new album was released recently, and the song AEAO, which came out 10 years ago, is currently trending.

Thank you for this reaction, Roscoe! We certainly dived well beneath surface liking on this one. Add to your live 158 the 4,000+ that have viewed your reaction so far and we will still have so many nuances to how we interpret this video. I think that is exactly the point of this video; each of us experiences these images and moments and connect them to our own life experience. So rich in imagery! And delivered with J-Hope's sunny heart. Love it and love your analysis. Lol, I won't even try to explain THIS to my friends and family! "I watch BTS music videos a lot and also some guys who react to their music. There's this guy who really dives into the smallest detail and sometimes the reaction gets all goofy, sometimes gets really heavy and philosophical; and we have all this back and forth in the comments. Oh, and last week he was reading to us. For hours. And we have Book 2 in another week or so." I think it's the reading that will weird them out. You see, people who have not been on this journey will never get it. But happy to be in this community and sharing thoughts with all of you. Borahae!

I have to thank you. Because of you I started to like new artist. Firstly I started watching you because of Stray Kids, but then I started to watch the lives and I started to love them and always wait for them. I don't listen to BTS, I know who they are and know more about them because of you. I started to listen to Jimin and Suga, they solo songs are amazing, but when you listened to this on live and said you will watch Hope On The Street I wasn't really interested, but then when I later catched your live and you were watching episode 3 and 4 I was like yeah it's good. I don't know what changed but some days ago the memories came back of watching it and I started to watch it from episode 1 to 6 and I became hooked and know I kinda fell in love with J-Hopes music and his dancing is fenomenal. So I just really wanted to say this and thank you for your reaction videos. 💜💜
