Mohan Krishna Indraganti won eleven awards including the national award and Nandi award for his directorial debut Grahanam. Coming from a family of literary lineage, Mohana Krishna completed formal film training in Canada before venturing into films.
In his career spanning more than 11 years, Mohan Krishna Indraganti has made just eight films, however, he has carved a niche for himself as a sensible filmmaker. The critical success of films like Ashta Chemma, Golconda High School and Anthaka Mundhu Aa Tharuvatha, Gentleman cemented his position as a filmmaker with an eye for detail and his ability to tap into contemporary issues has been widely appreciated.
In this interview with iDream, Mohan Krishna expressed his heart out like never before. We got to see another side of him through this interview.

Dude! He can only talk that’s where it ends. If you listen to him you get a feeling that he must’ve made godfather and gone with the wind… bragging, name dropping and exaggerating his abilities, his movies are extremely ordinary that too speaking of his best work.

I think you are making a false equivalency here by comparing Mohan Krishna with Cameron & Shyamalan. They are both born in different countries, brought up in different milieus and have different audience to which they cater to. If you wish to make a correct comparison, compare him with his colleagues who have made so many bullshit films in the name of popular entertainment. Cinema progresses in a slow manner and Mohan Krishna here is a perpetrator of that change in cinema undoubtedly.

You are so right . He talks well , that’s his strong suit . But, he cannot take u into his story . Look at gentleman movie , u don’t feel for the dying Nani , the heroine says her soul mate is dead and u feel nothing.
Aanand Self respected woman ni potray chesara? Godavari cinema lo exposing ledu aithe matram... Self respected anestaava? In once scene, Heroine nenu andam ga unnana leda.. unnana leda ani thega feel ayipoyiddi... adi self respect aa? Inka Godavari cinema lo aithe ilanti chetta scenes chaala untaayi.. Exposing ledu annantha matrana adi self respected character ayipodu... You potray women lot better than shitty shekhar kammula. I respect u a lot...

Firstly I know the value of romance at the same time having self respect... I don't bother even my spouse say that I am ugly. I will reply u think I am ugly that's ur prespective. I understood those films far better than you guys.. I liked political Ambition part in Godavari film. Those are stories with very good music and very subsimissive taking. Submissive things attract Submissive people. 90% of people around the world are submissive.. Submissive and Self respect can't stay in same bottle when submissiveness attacking your self respect. If you are shekhar kammula fan, Come one let's debate about his potrayal of women
