I am planning my first Golf Sim Build this year, and am convinced I need the MLM2PRO because of the accurate spin axis numbers. I don't see the point in practicing with potentially wildly innacurate ball flight information. But I have seen and heard all the connection nightmares. Your videos help a lot!

Thanks for that! Another great and informative video, i cant setup my simulator quite yet, cus we got like 4ft of snow outside, and i got all my "summerstuff" in the garage, were the simulator will be. But i got everything i need now to set it up. Maybe another month or so, then the snow will be gone. Keep swinging!

I could definitely do that. In the mean time. Check out this video. It all applies the same except at the three minute mark, you will use your Vysor window name, likely "iOS Device" in place of the "Samsung Flow" window name. You will also need to locate your Vysor.exe file, mine is in "C:\Users\Ben\AppData\Local\vysor\Vysor.exe" and use that location in the Application Path Section. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oIuCm9d8kdKuksY.htmlsi=WL8V9PFUgAUfaqxO&t=180

I really appreciate your videos! Today I set up my new gaming pc and got on gspro. I believe I have everything up and running (minus my projector). My only issue seems to be the huge delay between my shot and gspro reading it. I have rapsodo and iPad set up to how you did on this video. Latest stable springbok connector. It’s a good 30-45 seconds between swing and screen play

Using Range mode? Is the screen mirror delayed or the Rapsodo app? Do the numbers pop up right away on the iPad but then delay on their way to the computer?

What connection mode? I just tested and did not have this issue. About a 2-5 second delay for me

In range mode, using vysor. So I ran out there to check and in the range it worked faster. I would say 5-10 seconds. Didn’t have time to keep troubleshooting. The bad delay I was actually on a course. I wish iOS would work the same way in practice mode as android does.

Make sure you are Direct Connected. Will have no internet. Also, “Forget” local networks your iPad has connected to in the past. And like you said, with iOS you unfortunately have to use Range mode.

I will look at everything and try to figure out the culprit of which one seems to be slower. I did forget the network based on your recent video as well. A part of me thinks the graphic of the ball flight (even in static mode) is part of the problem. A little unrelated, my gpu only has one hdmi output. Should/could I use one of the other hdmi ports for my regular monitor (32” Vizio tv) and use the gpu hdmi for my projector?

Great video! I’m curious though, couldn’t you simply buy the lightning to HDMI adapter and plug it direct into your projector’s HDMI input? That would save having to download a third party software to run this.

If all you were going for was screen projection yes. This is a solution to run the GSPro Connector where you need to mirror to a PC

Once again a very easy to understand explanation Ben! Can you tell me what the advantage of using the USB direct connection to the PC has over using Airplay? I suspect it might be because it fixes the disconnection issues most of us have with the MLM2PRO. Is this actually the case? I always use the local network connection and it's really a mixed bag. No disconnect issues some days and others it's a nightmare! I have a very capable wireless Ubiquiti router with a direct cable connection to my Wifi modem and get 400mps internet speed wirelessly in my simulator shed so that shouldn't be a reason for disconnections. A direct cable connection between the MLM2PRO and the IOS device would seem to be the answer for disconnect issues. From a technical perspective do you think that's a possibilty in the future?

For me, Direct Wifi Connecting MLM2 to phone is more stable than Local Network Connection to MLM2. However, you must Direct USB Screen Share from your phone/tablet to your PC to use Direct WiFi Connection to MLM2. If you use Wifi (Airplay) for Screen Mirror you have to use Local Network Connection. So, If you are having troubles, or just want a more stable connection to your MLM2. USB Screen Share allows you to Direct Wifi Connect to the MLM2 and play GSPro with no internet or local/home wifi interference. I would add the recommendation to turn off Auto-Reconnect to your home networks. When you direct connect you will have no internet. If your tablet trys to switch wifi to "find" internet it will disconnect you. SO, the key to the Direct Wifi connection is to forget all other networks or at a minimun turn off Auto-Reconnect on them. Give it a try and see how it fairs for you. :) Thanks again for the compliment and question. I would love them to allow usb MLM to PC but I don't see it coming :( Cross fingers!

@@trpl_bgy Thanks for the feedback again. I don't know whether it actually matters or is just a coincidence but I have found that I don't get disconnections when using the local network connection when the MLM2PRO is not plugged through the USB-C connection. I was keeping it plugged in when playing so I didn't need to worry about the battery getting drained and I was constantly getting disconnections. I can't remember why I didn't have it charging through the USB-C connection one time but I noticed that I wasn't getting the disconnections like I did when it was plugged in. Since then I have found it disconnects way more when the USB-C connection is plugged in so now I plug it in to recharge it after I have finished playing. Love to know if anyone else has had the same experience.

I have a question regarding my setup, which includes an iPad and a Mac. I was trying to use GS Pro through Shadow PC services, but I've noticed that all the connectors available are designed for Windows. I'm curious to know if there is a way to pass Bluetooth connectivity to the cloud PC so I can use one of these connectors. Alternatively, do you know of any connectors that are compatible with iOS? My goal is to run GS Pro on the cloud PC using a connector.

Hi Ben, great video. I am trying to connect it to the GSPro connector and it pulls a black screen every time I try to set my ROIs am I doing something wrong or is it not compatible with GSPro connector. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

It’s compatible. I just used it a minute ago (as you had me worried). But works very well. Do you have the Window Name on the ROI’s correct? Should be “iOS Device”. I have an ROI video that might help.

@@trpl_bgy Yea silly me i didn't realize the second box on the device screen was for the window name, i had it named vyzor. Gonna try to play some GSPro tomorrow. haven't had much luck in the past but i am hopeful with how speedy direct connect is. Thanks for your help again.

I am selecting Vysor to be screen mirroring apploication but when sprinkbok opens. its saying that the vysor app does not seem to be running. Then when i try and set my ROIs, its saying the same thing. Am i missing something ? thanks

I'll definitely be trying this tomorrow after I put my setup back together. Had to partially pack things away today to get my snow removal equipment out (70+ cm of damn snow last couple days).
