After spending some time searching for a phone mount for my 2024 CR-V, I liked this one. I got it today and following this video, did the installation. My Direct Fit bracket stays loose after slide it over the clip and pushed back the panel. The panel looks and feels to be attached correctly. Is there a possibility that the wrong bracket was sent?

Hello, Our pick/pack system will not allow for incorrect brackets to be sent. It is possible the incorrect bracket was ordered but If you are getting it to fit in this space we would guess not. It is possible the Direct Fit bracket is not fully past the clip that it goes over causing the clip to not pop in its original seat in the dash? Is it possible to fix the bracket below the left hand side of the display?

Although it looks the same, the dimensions of the area where the clip goes is different unfortunately.

Will it work for 2023-2024 honda hr-v?

Hello, This is not something we have tested but our guess is no. Customers have tried to adapt it to a Civic and an Accord that also look similar but it is not the same dimensions.
