Hi , I am 57 years old and a MK / DireStraits fan since 1979 . I heard this riff at least 2000 times by now and know each and every notes and bends . You have nailed it perfectly . Great rendition , keep it up girl !!

Wow, that was totally an amazing and spot on re-creation of the Mark Knopfler lead from that classic song!! And I was mesmerized watching her doing the same fingerpicking technique that he does (plus that French accent makes this quite the enjoyable video first thing in the morning)🎸🎸🎸🎸

So many people do this solo on KZread. Most of them are flatpicking and using at least some distortion. This girl uses a super clean tone and fingerpicks ala Mark K. Best cover I've seen. Fearless in her clean tone where you can't hide any mistakes.

I recall Mark saying he started out with fingerstyle, it's pretty uncomfortable and it doesnt seem useful to use a pick when you have such a background, especially when playing this type of music. Maybe in metal or some heavier music it's useful, but other than that i think a pick just gets in the way

This HAS to be played without a pick or you just wouldn't get the tone right. This is an excellent cover and is note for note, but it lacks the subtle feels of the original, but then there is only one Mark Knopfler....

Bonjour et meilleurs Vœux pour 2022 , j adore ce morceau et je l ai tjs joué sur E Acousriqie , j ai depuis peu une fender statocaster depuis peu ( modèle pro2 avec Marshall) mais j arrive pas à avoir ce son claquant comme je l aime sur fender , on peut savoir quel micro tu utilises et quel est le modèle de fender ? Merci pour ton retour.

Juste magnifique : le solo , la déco, le style (jambe pliée fallait le faire 😉) Joué à la perfection et là je sur kiffe car Dire Straits est un de mes premiers groupes écouté dans les années..euh ...j ose ? 1980 !!!
