Looks fool proof and delicious
so basically custard with whipped cream
are you sure we have to use heavy cream itself for wipping?
Can you fill and frost layer cake with this? Or is it only good for filling?
Is starch just cornstarch or would any starch work?

wrong. Creme Chantilly is whipped cream with icing sugar.

Christine Angel very wrong magdalena chantilly is with vanilla and some kind of sweetner generally icing sugar but can also be caster, creme diplomat has gelatin generally which makes it a very stable type of custard cream great for fruit tarts, the eggs don't need to be tempered in this recipe as the corn flour emulsifies the coagulation of the egg yolks meaning the custard base stays smooth I would change this recipe so that all the milk is heated to a scald, the egg yolks are whisked with the sugar and the corn starch then its put back on the heat, save your self a couple of steps

Shalima no chantilly cream is double cream or heavy cream whipped lightly maybe some vanilla

@@byronfinnerty6786, chantilly is whipped cream. Whether it's sweetened or not, or with what, and if it's flavored with vanilla or not, is optional. Christine isn't wrong.
