Not kidding...I nearly spilled my beer when I heard the human say STFU! But only nearly because I'm home "entertaining" my greatest corporate competitor with a barbeque. LOL
I do love this story. More like this one please.

In the current climate, humans have zero diplomacy.
And so the Vass and Humans started talking about competitions that could interest both species. Humans suggested mixed martial arts tournaments, war games and olympics.
Ooooooo long lost brother . Awesome.
Not taking as much from the planets as they could is smart. Squeeze them too hard and that's how you get them rebelling. Much better to not have to do much and still get something.

This short story was so well done, thank you.
Hahaha what a wonderful story. I didn’t know how it was going to turn out but I was happy when it did. My imagination lit up with possibilities of humanity and the Vass discovering together, hosting sports and competitions together and mutually exchanging the best of both cultures. Even hosting war games and cooperative exercises as they find ways to compete and push each other to greater heights without ever being actually enemies.
Had me laughing in traffic! Immediate replay! Well Done!
