In number theory, Diophantine equations are those where you are only looking for integer solutions. This restriction sounds like it might make the problem easier, but in fact it results in a mathematical puzzle that are among the most difficult to solve.
In this video we explore the simplest Diophantine equation: polynomial equations with a single unknown. In this case, we can devise an algorithm that is guaranteed to find all solutions, if any exist.

What a coincidence I wanted it and it was 11 years ago and this video is 7 hours ago quite surprising
I liked the video so much that I immediately subscribed. Learned a valuable technique
Very good presentation
I've studied a lot of mathematics in my lifetime. I'm an engineer and computer scientist by education, not a mathematician. I've never heard of these before. Thanks for the education!

We're so glad you're watching with us! That's the best feeling, discovering something new. 💜🦉
This seems like a very limited case usage though. Only 1 variable, integer coefficients, with only finding integer solutions. Very specific case. I'm hoping though that this is just the first step in to a more general solution for all Diophantine equations.
