Doja should give her some royalties in all fairness, she's basically a co-writer. Dionne proved you can make beautiful music with feeling without cussing and I don't think the musicians of today could ever do that.

Ms. Kelly, Crew and Ms. Dionne, what a treat to see. A national treasure. Oh boy, seeing her brings me back to a different time, but is it. We are still fighting for our civil rights. I love her story about Elvis Prestly. Album instead of CD and even 8 track here. Ms. Dionne stood up for herself. You made me part of the problem, and now make me part of the solution. I like that. Seeing her made me smile. Thank you. I wish to hear more about her stories in life. Please interview more often and hope there is a book about her life. Many blessings

I know right & her story about Elvis Presley is even better the fact that he autographed a picture of himself & put it in her album is such a smart tactic. By doing that he knew that his predominantly white fans would by her album. He's a genius & definitely not a racist & I wish people specifically black people would stop saying that he is because he's helped so many black artists such as Sam Cooke , Dionne of course , and Jackie Wilson. Elvis was just a white artist who was heavily influenced by black artists such as Fats Domino , BB king & Big Mama Thorton which is why sang Hound Dog because he loved the song & was inspired by her. Elvis Presley loves black people & black music & did not steal it but anyway I like what Elvis Presley did for Dionne it was nice 👍

I have enjoyed Dionne Warrick since I was a child growing up in the sixties. But more importantly her grace, respect for humanity, civil rights longevity and stance against injustice and racism. Her era stood up, but the entertainers of today are not witnessed marching and voicing discrimination or actresses crying out about not being paid fairly. Where are the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., and Mrs. Rosa Parks today?

Sampling an artist .....the artist only gets any money if they've actually written or produced the song. Otherwise she'd get a small portion due to her actual voice appearing on the record.

There's so many negative comments about Elvis about her speaking of Declaration of Independence she was part of the movement and the civil rights movement by the way so you're offended that she's for your people and for not degrading women and that she felt that Elvis was a kind person which he was even if you hate him cause he's white doesn't mean he wasn't a good white man I mean there are good white people they're bad white people and they're bad black people they're bad Asians and good Asians why are you so hung up on hating somebody I mean for real

It’s funny how they always have to villainize rap music in some form or fashion. They didn’t mention any of the explicit lyrics that Doja Cat sings or raps about or the drug exploits of Elvis but they had to bring up ol’ Snoop Dogg and the word that starts with a ‘B’. That word has been said for hundreds maybe thousands of years, and has probably been said by nearly everyone in that crowd including Kelly and Dionne at some point or another. I completely understand what she was trying to say and I can completely respect that but I don’t understand why she had to bring that up. I can bet maybe 10 percent of the people in the crowd can recite the Declaration of Independence accurately, so why she would make her son recite the Dec of Ind. because he recited some rap lyrics was a lil over the top from my perspective or should I say for her to mention that was what was actually over the top. There was a lot of subject matter spoken in that interview that Dionne could’ve bashed but her disgust for rap music shined through the brightest. I respect Dionne and love her music but cmon Dionne have a sense of respect for that genre and culture to some degree!
