@@genrerationx Diokno has been screwing up the Philippine economy through inflation. Tapos you're saying inflation is lower. Are you delusional, hindi mo nakikita, everything went up its prices. Inflation is a threat, because all the central banks are printing money 24/7. You obviously had no clue how inflation is a threat to average consumers and businesses. If Diokno is so smart the government wouldn't have to borrow money to service the national government services. If hindi mo alam, the national debt of the country is ballooning, each Filipino who are born are now carrying a huge pile of debt. If you don't know, kung ano ibig sabihin nyan, ibig sabihin maging prioritize na ng governnment of servicing the debt than returning the money back to the people. While lumalaki ang governnment bureaucracy, lumalaki din ang debt obligasyon ng pamahalaan. Diokno has been around for more than 30 years as economic managers, the country is still a sh*thole. Kung di mo yan gets, he makes money from as sh*tty decisions, at basura parin ang economy ng bansa. High inflation, high debt, big government, and high unemployment.

@@genrerationx 6% inflation is too high. This is not the lowest, it's one of the worst inflation. With surging inflation and increasing national debt, at lumalaki ang obligasyon ng governnment of servicing its massive programs and entitlements. You must be a clown not realizing this is a disaster. Kapag ako, of course hindi lagapak, why would you print money and borrow money, at ginagamit mo ang populasyon ng bansa to payoff its current and future debt. 60% debt and 40% revenue ng bansa, go figure kung hindi tama ginagawa ng governnment.

Power Generation, Water Supply, Metals Production (Steel and Aluminum Alloys). Secure these three, all other modernization projects (from infra to agriculture) will accelerate what used to be projected as decades into something within the decade.

THIS IS NO LONGER A QUESTION OF WHAT POLITICAL AFFILIATION OR COLOR DIOKNO IBELONGS. It took 25 yrs for Singapore to turn a small swampy 3rd world state into a first world global financial centre. Basic commodities for manufacturing (WATER, ELECTRICITY) ay controlled by the private sector. Sobrang mahal ng singil yet walang stable source. Kaya walang gustong mamuhunan sa atin dahil dito. May workforce naman tayo but lacking tayo sa knowledge and skills although natututunan naman yan. Pinakaimportante sa lahat is yung Percentage between foreign insvestors and Philippine Counterparts. 60-40. Lugi ang mamumuhunan sa tin. Kaya dapat pwede na ang 100% foreign ownership ng businesses sa Pinas. Kelangan na natin ng Charter Change. Panahon pa ng Pres. Arroyo pinapanukala pero laging Kontra ang cohorts ng sumunod na administrasyon sa kanya tapos backed by the Media. What do you expect kaya kahit gustuhin man natin na satin mapunta ang mga major manufacturing companies eh kelangan muna nating baguhin yung ibang policies natin regarding foreign investments.

because BBM is not as bad as they though he would be. They expected a marcos Sr. 2.0 but we are in the modern times. The things that led to Marcos' oust from presidency was very different from today's. BBM doesn't speak I'll of media, despite them demonizing his statements, he doesn't publicly curse out world leaders. He doesn't threaten women to be killed, he doesn't publicly encourage people to kill people they think doing drugs.

I agree with you Sec. Diokno by saying compared to the pasy who were going out & tslk about Phil economy but nobody would believe and now you are right by saying the truth the " stars are all aligning !

Inflation is global at hindi lang naman Pilipinas sinasabi ko ito dahil nandito ako sa ibang bansa nagtaasan din ang presyo ng lahat not only for foods. Kaya kailangan lang ay magtanim at magtanim tayo para zero importation sa pagkain.

First, corruption should be addressed by the gov't.. Even during Duterte's presidency with the massive borrowing of the 13 Trillion debt of the Phil. gov't. and massive corruption, Diokno was always positive. He should have warned and reigned in anomalous transactions of the gov't. so that debt will not balloon.

Are the financial people of the big and small countries respectable? How come they keep spending more than what their countries make and keep borrowing to pay debt? Looks like they do not understand the meaning of "living within your means"? Brains anyone?

The Govt should campaign for other source of Carbohydrates, not just rice. It is easier to plant potato than rice, esp in this time where climate change damages the rice fields.

Oo he will learn that our food prices are far more cheaper compare to food in other countries. Malayo mas mura pagkain sa pinas. Kaya try mo mag abroad para malamsn mo. Para d ka mahirapan mag tanim ka sa bakuran mo if wala ka lupa magtanim sa paso ok?

Europe, North america, mid east n many devlp asian countries mas mura pa din bilihin sa pinas. Bka lng d ka marunong mag calculate o mag analyze.
