Great Diois scenery in this video.
I decided to have a realtively calm scenic walk. Just follow the yellow paint marks on the trees and have a relaxing walk... Until I got to a small waterfall and saw the opposite side of the ravin where I was walking. I decided to try my luck and go for a bit of an adventure. My new goal was to get to the base of the waterfall then up the steep ravin to the Crête. So the walk continued as a pathless hike up a steep stoney mountain side.
There was a bit of summer in the air, but later it turned into a extremely windy day.
When you would like to do something similar, bring walking sticks. These help keep your balance in steep uneven terrain and take weight of your knees when descending.
