Of that 50/50 chance against Slovenia in pens, he did pull off those 3 miraculous saves that has never been done before in EURO history at the age of 24, even when his back was against the wall & pressure mounted just like that one-on-one with Sêsko. Besides, his record in penalty saves is rather brilliant. And, with the help of Portugal's spot kickers, they sealed that win. Conceding those goals yesterday does not change the fact of his overall capabilities. For 120 minutes, being France of all teams, they couldn't pass Costa. 🚫 They most played on the counterattack because Portugal pressure them greatly, similar to Slovenia, except with the defensive low block style of play. Yet, when they did counterattack, they couldn't make a note against him. 🧱🇵🇹

Sometimes, goalkeepers don't have much to do due to players controlling the game & refraining the opponents from entering their final third. How is that any of the goalkeeper's fault? Plus, Costa has has made many spectacular saves during the match, if you were watching. If a goalkeeper "ghosts" you are more than likely suggesting, if your comment ever made any sense, that he conceded goals (that is especially if the goalkeeper was raised to a high standard, which is often the case). That's why I stated Maignan saved neither as well. Choose your words carefully, sir. Understand that it's not a matter of ghosting. Besides, if the keeper had nothing to save for an entire game, something that is completely out of their power, again I ask, how is that their fault? That shows the his teammates were more likely than not dominant & probably had a very high work-rate with defensive duties, not a personal ordeal for the goalkeeper, if we are being practical here. I never specifically mentioned the penalty shootout. Goalkeepers can have different levels of impact during a game based on the situation. That is what I meant with ghosted but anyways let’s stop this idiocy and respect each opinion
