@melbjovi09 wow!!! unfortunately Dio didn't Play my country then & was a a bit too young to afford to travel to see him even if I wanted to. BTW I Have visited Melbourne since then & it's a good city & hopefully will get back there sometime

Love this song. RIP. Miss him.

You can understand every word he sings even in the high pitched voice. Hard not to sing along. His pure power and grace are legendary.

It is ok my friend....there are MANY world's .. 😉 we can't keep guy like Ronnie and Neil Peart and Chris Oliva (savatage...guitar ) all to ourselves can we? But boy-o-boy did they sure give us a cool ass to use our ears n touch our souls ! I believe our paths will all cross again .

When he sings i just go to a blank stare and wonder. How the hell is he able to sound so good in live? Even at his old age he was able to keep his voice.

It's because Ronnie wrote this song as a Dio song, with his voice. So the other singers performed more a less like Dio (specially Kevin dubrown I guess) all the way they did it like they tried to follow the original dio voice track

As a singer I can just say Dio had a perfect technique and of course a lot of natural talent. He can be placed in-line with great names of any genre.

Ronny is the best stays and thanks all his fans signs every last thing you want he was a Rangers fan I was a Flyers fan talked hockey for 20 minutes best singer in metal hands down miss u so much

I was an instant fan first time I heard him..just love that frigging voice as if its so effortless to him, unlike the new singers who need auto tuning just to sound good live.

Sad Dio is gone...R.I.P brother. All my 80's idols are getting older which sucks...im just glad i lived as a teenager through the best age of Rock ever!! Concerts were numerous and affordable...my daughter( is 33) loves this music and begs me to build a time machine to take her to see these classics!! 😂😂

Gotta be kidding! WOW! Saw the Dream Evil tour in '88 I believe and to this day, I have yet to see a more mind blowing show! Wanted to compare the Alice Cooper-Raise Your Fist And Yell tour a month later, but the tour bus operator screwed us over on that one!

Thankfully all the Dio members were there to make history when the song was written and recorded in 1985 or 1986. Even Goldy were there though he was not a member of the band yet.
