No fake vocal tracks and instrument tracks, all totally live and sounds epic. Bands and artists had standards for excellence then and didn't rip-off the fans by lip-synching to pre-recorded audio, which has become business a usual now. Long live real performances.

@@michaellindholm2068 They say that Dio's voice was practically bursting due to the load of shows that day and this was one of his best performances in my opinion, it is noticeable some small flaws in his voice during the show but Dio had so much control of his voice that it was these flaws were almost imperceptible and he managed to masterfully deal with the physical fatigue of his voice and people almost never noticed, while the friction due to the vocal fatigue of most other rock and metal singers was always very noticeable and the out of tunes were frequent also, this happened to Freddie, Guillan and even Halford in 2008.

Holy Diver was a Magical album. Dio created imaginary worlds of Heavy Metal. For me because of the artwork with Murray (Murralsee) The Last of the Malacovians both Holy Diver and The Last In Line are up there with Iron Maiden's Piece Of Mind and The Number Of The Beast as well as both Blizzard Of Ozz and Diary Of A Madman abums. King Diamond is also good and Judas Priest with this Heavy Metal imaginary world that Holy Diver captures. Also of mention is Marching Out and Trilogy.

Anyone ever notice the intro here could be in a jazz fusion Mahavishnu Orchestra style song? Really awesome, wish modern metal bands had that much blues in them!
Absolutely amazing. One of my favorite vocal recorded performances he ever did, and it was even better live. Pre-2000 Dio was untouchable. Love you, Ronnie! [Oops. This wasn't the performance I thought it was. Not his best night. There's a really awesome version of this song on this tour somewhere.]

Holy Diver was a Magical album. Dio created imaginary worlds of Heavy Metal. For me because of the artwork with Murray (Murralsee) The Last of the Malacovians both Holy Diver and The Last In Line are up there with Iron Maiden's Piece Of Mind and The Number Of The Beast as well as both Blizzard Of Ozz and Diary Of A Madman abums. King Diamond is also good and Judas Priest with this Heavy Metal imaginary world that Holy Diver captures. Also of mention is Marching Out and Trilogy.
