It was the same thing Dio was doing to Polereff at the stairs beforehand, freeze time, set dude back at the beginning and screw up their perception of surroundings. DIO is a complete troll. CJ presents evidence to folks who has some foresight/knowledge of the series. He cannot go into every detail with the amount of time he put into each video.

So, the scene of the mom with the baby was probably even more fucked up in the original dialogue. She begged Dio to not hurt the baby, and Dio was like "Alright, I promise I won't hurt your baby". He then turns her into a zombie and she eats the baby, and he's like "I kept my promise, I didn't lay a finger on the baby, you're the one who killed your child"

I should probably mention. When polnareff kept walking up to same stairs it was due to dio stopping time walking down the stairs and putting back at the bottom. Before walking back up to the top of the stairs. As for the mind control thing. They were controlled in a way that if they were broken free of said mind control they would just die.

The most I’ve ever seen you hesitate, and for good reason. This is my first video watching of your channel. The whole premise with you kind of beeing the attorney for hot anime bad guy is very funny, especially since your not doing that great with this client :D The thing with Boo eating a whole city or killing every human on earth is, that he just does not care..........people are nothing to him so when he ate the city with women and babies in it for shure, I think the difference lays in the intend. DIO was fully aware of the fears of the women and sardistically used it to promise her that he would do the baby no harm and make the women do it herself. For her, if some concious is left, it must be the most horrible thing she could ever imagine. And for him it is the pleasure watching and knowing that he with no effort just send someone to the worst nightmare she will ever have, while also giving a shit about the lives of those. Therefore Boo kind of acts like a kid with no bad intention or just because he does not know better. On the other hand DIO is clever and fully aware of everything he does and what he does to people and how it makes them and other around feel and the higher the physical or emotional pain he can give, the greater the pleasure for him. THAT is the disturbing thing about this scene......not the one mum kills her baby........but the fact DIO strives to create the most fucked up things to put someone in.

If the mother were to run away, the ghouls would have eaten her and her baby, if the ghouls wouldn't get to her then Dio was going to let his pet jack the ripper loose and do the horrific things to her and the baby just to sate Dio's kick. Second don't compare Buu, Vegeta, or Broly to what happened. Those three made the death of every human and living being as quick by blowing it up and it's bad because feeding it's a slow and painful death and not only that but it was a baby defenseless baby that cannot fight back.
