There is something absolutely fascinating about this. Watching how easy singing comes to him. I've always found Dio to be just interesting to listen to him talk.

Ronnie James Dio is all my life I born hearing Rainbow, then Black Sabbath, Later his Band Dio and after Heaven & Hell All Dio' s music is great

This is a real treat to see. Something odd about Dio. If you watch as he's singing..you never see any sort of strain..even in his higher range. There's notes I can hit that are in my range but Ive gotta stand on my tiptoes and hold my nuts. His voice and how it works for him is an anomaly.

Love watching clips like this even more then the full song itself. After 6 years of Dio being gone, I still feel he is alive and well. I can not say I miss him because he is not dead to me, but I wish he was still here.

@@tylerthescreamofficial98 I met him in an Office Depot parking lot. He almost ran over. I have heard a voice say "it's a G class." I turned around and was like oh shit its Dio. So I said is your name Ronnie? He said yes and we had a conversation for around 20 minutes.

I witnessed the Last in Line and Sacred Heart concerts.I was one lucky metal head.

"dio in the studio". immediately click. love this record, "between two hearts" is one of my favorite songs, i can't seem to find any live video of this. that 24 track reel to reel master brings back old memories.

Yes. Between Two Hearts is a masterpiece. It seems that Dio never played it live, since no live video of it exists.

Some people like Dio are just born with vocal pipes, while others spend their whole life trying to create them. You can always tell when you listen.

He wasn't born with it completely. He didn't sound like that in the 60's. He must have practiced alot, especially on the distortion part. Increadible voice.

I never understood why Dio didn't get Rowan again after this, because "LUTW" is one of my favorite Dio releases.

My favorite DIO album!

I Remember watching this clip back in 1990. it would have been great to see a video of the making of the Album Fully. Before KZread it was a great way to see the Bands up close & creating Music. ive seen the Aerosmith one, Metallica, Megadeth. wish More bands would do those kinds of Videos.

Thanks for uploading this! I saw DIO twice live. Ill have to upload my video recording of that from the 2007 Heaven and Hell tour in ABQ new mexico in 2007. I had a sweet camera and I was the ONLY one recording it in the entire audience. Since phones did not have cameras worth a damn back then

Thanks so much for posting this! This album brought back that old Rainbow and Sabbath Ronnie in alot of ways, with more of that special mix of bluesy rock and Dio majic. Great players all. The interviewer looked a bit foppish though, when saying to Rowan the american dream thing, uh, rock and roll is a universal dream man!! In fact, I look with a jealous eye upon the relationship between Great Britain and Ireland and the electric guitar.
