Very cool you are reviewing an "older" game! We have this and need to get it to the table since we like Dinosaur Island. We definitely understand about missing games from just a few years back! Excellent video as usual. (Mik)

Hearing about the solo mode reminds me of Imperial Settlers Roll ans Write and how they made all these interesting sheets and multi-player is just a standard sheet.

oh yeah that's another great example. imo that one must have been designed as a solo first and then multiplayer rules were added

I have only played this solo mode so far (many, many times), and I hate the escaping dinosaurs mechanic. I love everything else.

Love your video! Good job. Could you tell me how big is the meeple in this game? Jus out of curious because it looks very small compare to standard size meeple in Carcassonne

i don't know the exact size, but they're midway between a normal cube and a normal meeple. it's cool too because the dino meeples are bigger than them so they have an appropriate presence on the board :)

Ooooo, you have great ideas! Coop would be awesome. We had the same experience, this was a little too AP prone and maybe too big. Very cool game though.

It was really fun to hear Jen giggle in the background when she was mentioned 😊 Do you prefer Dinosaur Island over Dinosaur World (with the rules as is)?

Did you try Duelosaur Island? I understood it as sort of a two-player version of Dinosaur Island. Or do you not count it for some reason?

Fiddly, boring, procedural slog with almost no player interaction, void of any exciting or interesting decisions. Not only is this the worst in this series of games, it's one of the most unfun euros I've ever played. I can't remember the last time I was so disinterested in what I was doing during the game. Rawr & Write is billion times better than this one. Still, THANK you for great runthrough, as always ;). It's not easy to film this game on the road, it's a table hog.
