Keep hoping man! They did RE 2 after enough back lash. They’re reportedly developing a REmake of 3 because they forecasted the game being a hit. They also did an HD re release of Onimusha for PS4, XB1, and PC which comes out 1/15

@Ike Wiseman to be fair, that is literally the point of a remake, to change appearances of things from its original (among other things like game mechanics, etc.) RE2 is a prime example of this

I lost my father and everytime I hear this song I remember him. He liked this game very much.

I always found this score strangely enough, to fit dino crisis 2 more than it did 1...especially when you first encounter it, in the first save room of the game. In the research facility just before you get locked in that room as Dylan. It's the medical room with the beds, blood stains, and rotting corpse...and it has that incredible file that tells us that the inhabitants that you've come to rescue that are stuck their in the future, have ran out of medical supplies and have had to resort to having to use plants from that time to heal wounds and stay alive basically, and just overall how desperately hopeless their situation got, are after being stuck waiting to be rescued or to find a solution themselves, and that their time was just running out because they are were in an environment and time they didn't belong in, much like the dinos, but instead they were thriving. I just found a simple file like that, to be so interesting yet so rich in world building, and to top it off, this theme plays whilst you read it, and it fits perfectly...with the not much hope left,type vibe that I get from this music and that first save room... And to a similar extent, when you encounter the save theme in that gun store, after the Edward city FMV sequence (which is just stunning, and I wish that part was longer, and we actually got to play and save some people :( The gun store is a prime example of pre-rendered backgrounds telling a visual story imo, that 3d models at that time, couldn't tell nearly as good imo. The dead gunstore owner, with a shotgun by his feet, his store ravaged and destroyed with bullets and blood everywhere, gun cases all empty, and of course, the bodies of two dead raptors that he probably made his last stand against, it's quite a scene when you enter that room, and all whilst listening to this theme. It's truly brilliant.

Fitting music for a save room. It felt very relaxing. Capcom still makes good music on games. My favorite currently is the menu theme in Resident Evil Revelations 2.

Wow... The nostalgia smacks so hard with this... What an amazing piece of music... They don't make them like this anymore...

So mellow with those strings, yet the stabbing chords give an underlying tension with the rising pitch adding an overall sense of anticipation. A masterpieceo perfectly suited for the save room

This makes me think of a dark hospital room, at night, with some warm light coming from the hallway through the door, looking at the heart rate monitor and other medical machines lights and LEDs, with me laying in bed, feeling safe and well-treated. Anyone else feels the same?

i think a lot of the older games need to be rebooted, the company's would make a lot of money for reboots of the old games

Fingers crossed the Resident Evil 4 remake sells well, because that keeps hope alive for a Dino Crisis remake. Here's how I'd predict it'd go down. RE4 remake, RE: CV remake, then hopefully Dino Crisis remake.

I remember the first time I heard this music in DC 2 in the military facility medical room was about 7/8 at the time, first time I heard it instantly felt both save and uncomfortable seeing all the dead bodies in the room kinda creaped me out

I agree. I thought it was an appropriate choice to have that medical room be the first place to hear this theme. Considering it coincides with the other visuals in the room(dead body that is a bare skeleton and looks years old, blood stained beds and floor, empty medicine bottles) and the file that you find and can pick up and read. It explains a lot of what has happened to the inhabitants stuck in that time, and how desperately hopeless their situation was being stuck their with dinosaurs.... and in a harsh environment.

This song, and Raven's Nest from Armored Core, always remind me of the 90s. It's that synth sound 90s games were famous for, and you rarely, if never, hear it anymore.

Dig into Detroit Techno, Ambient and IDM genres, you might find some unique gems there with this feel

Capcom was not lying when this was advertised in Game Informer magazines. "If Resident Evil made you jump out of your seat, this one will make you hide in your closet" which is technically true, because the zombies didn't open doors until later installments in the franchise. The Raptors indeed, DID open doors and chase you into hallways. And if you were out of ammo, then you'd better hope that you can reach the button to put the laser barrier up to keep those carnivorous lizards away, before they rip you apart. Literally.

There was something so terrifying about the survival horror games in the 90s that a mere theme song could haunt you as you go. The games today just simply miss the mark.

Man, this use to creep the f out of me .... actually, it still does .

i play this with my mom, like 20000 times, she become a speedrunner of this game, she completed DC in under 5-6h more or less

This game was pretty bad ass from what I remember and I totally remember this theme. They turned dinosaurs and Jurassic Park into a Resident Evil type game I mean that's just awesome. You have to be actually playing the game to get the full effect though similar to music in movies.

Capcom ruled ps1 and ps2 era. This tune alone is testament to that. Another all round classic right here. Who was lucky enough to play Dino crisis 3?? It was tucked away like an urban legend.....

Sounds even better on a rainy afternoon for some reason.

Jurassic Park was probably the best movie from the 90s (the best movie ever made IMO) and came out in 1993, then we got the amazing Resident Evil in 1996 and then this game came out in 1999 mixing 2 of the best things in entertainment from the 90s into a Masterpiece! Oh boy how I miss this simpler times!

I remember when i bought this game as a small child in a super market. I spent hours with this game, had A4 papers full of codes that i wrote down lying all around me. This is without a doubt one of the best games ever made. The gameplay, cinematics, music, feeling, it's all amazing. 2018 baby

This feels like your team left you behind and you’ve discovered their old base

it's nice that some sven coop servers like misfire use this type of theme on the loading screen

Capcom's music is timeless. Never heard music by them ever replicated by any company. Same goes for Silent Hill. Could say that 'bout any company I know but there's somethin' special about their music. This will be on repeat just as Resident Evil 5's save theme is. And the result screen theme. Others as well but can't remember off the top of my head.

Sad but I should have preordered this game when I could after following Shill & RE & Parasite Eve. To this day I have yet to play this and am excited to play a New old game!

@@doedoewski1939 Thank you broski! I will play both in order. Time release of this game was for sure a cash grab at Jurrasic Park movies and RE1 success. An interesting survival horror from this era too was Gallerians by Crave Entertainment. Not RE or Silent Hill but retro goodness for certain.

Sounds like religious medical room with computers and dinos outside. There's so much happening in it that it never gets tiring. Nice strings too, original, I can hear choir doing it (with thinning as is in this track). When I was a child I legit thought I was getting smarter playing those survival horrors.

The crazy part about this game and resident evil. They both are in the same universe.

i really happy that i see some ppl around that loves the classic RE games with fix camera and tank controls also hate RE7 at the same time... man im just happy that im not alone who don't like RE7. :) which is sad at the same time cause i used to love capcom and every RE game that they released . :(
