Dinner at a Beautiful Kominka (Traditional Japanese House)
A glimpse of the delightful dinner I had at Soso Hayama, a beautiful Kominka (Japanese traditional house) that has been renovated and turned into a café restaurants.
It was a collaboration dinner with an Italian restaurant called Loriga and located in the Miura Peninsula. The chef used local ingredients only. The food and wines were superb!

How do you like kominka turned into restaurants?

The focus on traditional materials and aesthetics lends well to the charm and rustic beauty of this Kominka Even when you're walking on the hardwood flooring, with its creaks and stains, speaks of an older time. A wonderful example of a tradition that sadly is being lost in our pursuit of everything modern
That burdock ravioli looked interesting
Sorry I missed your live. I was to sleepy
place looks great 😊😊😊
What a beautiful restaurant! I miss Japan. 😞
Sorry to tell you this but these are no ravioli, these are Culurgiones, a special shape of fresh filled pasta from Sardinia. Take care 🥰
