This is our version of Sago cake or DINGLU, Dinglu are one of the Southern Filipino Confection (Bangbang) specially for the Tausugs and other Muslim tribes favorite breakfast or snack in the afternoon, it is usually made of Lumbiya (Sago palm) but since we do not have access to sago palm we used Tapioca pearls instead, they are similar and just behave the same. So come and try this easy to make Sago cake or DINGLU recipe to enjoy!
Ingredients:
1.5 cup Tapioca pearls
1 cup Muscovado Sugar
800 ml Water
1/2 cup Flour
3/4 cup Water
Cooking oil for frying
