The attention to detail in this, the juxtaposition of relevant flashbacks and latest events, was so considered and beautifully executed. This one’s a keeper and going straight into my ‘Brilliant Stuff’ library folder. 👏🏼👏🏼 I have spoken.

It brought tears to my eyes when Grogu ran into the fight with Gideon. He will be greater with the force as Djarins son BECAUSE of attachment. And that Djarin is a great role model.

I love this comment. This is a huge problem with the Jedi order. Detachment can make you weaker, and even more prone to falling over to the dark side. Caring for others and having love in your life can make the Force even stronger. We've seen Grogu fight the bad guys, while also being a little bad himself (food-based snack stealing and eating fish lady babies mainly). That doesn't mean he's open to the dark side - it means he's a very Force-sensitive toddler. 🥰

@@Isi_Vi But remember - the Jedi order WANTS them very young so that they can remove their dependence on others. The council thought Anakin was too old and was too afraid to join because of his attachment to his mom. If the Jedi allowed relationships, maybe some of their members wouldn't have turned to the dark side. Din Grogu is very lucky to have trained with Luke, sure, but even more lucky to have a found a family with Din Djarin, Bo, Peli, the Armorer, and Greef. This will help him be centered and focused as he gets older.

The Jedi belief that attachment is wrong is what screwed them over in the long run. If Anakin wasn't afraid to reveal his marriage he wouldn't have turned to palpatine.

What I really love about this third season is the growing concern and love between Grogu and Din. The first two seasons showed this as well, but the third had some really pivotal moments where one saw the other in serious danger and reacted with deep fear. The finale really did a great job of this. When Grogu saw Din being stabbed by the Praetorian guards, he reacted with cries of worry and spams of the "No" button. When Din saw Grogu getting attacked by the guards, he reacted with a heart-wrenching and audibly pained cry. These two are the heart of the Mandalorian. Seeing their bond strengthen and the pair get vulnerable over time has been beautiful journey. But anyway, I love the video!

Oh totally! Watching them grow as a pair has been truly wonderful. Even how they both pined when they were apart. Did you notice in the finale that after the battle Din kept Grogu closer? If he wasn’t walking next to him Din was holding him.

The first 2 seasons showed us of them trying to navigate this new relationship and them getting closer while the thrid season felt like both of them just accepting their love fr another and how much they mean to one another and the finale took it to another level with both din and grogu saving eachother.. also when those guards were hurting din, grogu coming in and showing tht much anger while pressing tht no button so hard to stop them frm hurting din brought tears to me.. and the way grogu's eyes preaked up and how happy he looked when din said he was gonna adopt him.. gosh.. those two have the most sweetest relationship everrr

Oh totally! It’s so pure and wholesome and I love it. But I agree that the first 2 seasons plus Book of Boba were them trying to navigate the relationship and decide exactly how much and in what way they wanted to commit. But it was over after Grogu chose to come back. S3 was just both of them surrendering to it and Din making absolutely sure Grogu really wanted to be a Mando before officially adopting him. But really that was just paperwork. Grogu at least had his mind made up long ago and was just waiting for Din to come to the same conclusion. Just like the fans. Grogu panicking when he saw Din being hurt in the finale was so sad. But I think he was more fearful than angry. Did you notice he never used the dark side that whole fight. He only used the force for defense and to protect his dad. He could’ve easily crushed all those fools.

So beautifully made. We can see how Din Grogu progresses from season 1, to now season 3. The force that he has is becoming stronger, and the bond between Din Djarin and Din Grogu becomes stronger as well.

This is how you do adopted family right in star wars instead of the way that rise of skywalker did it with Ray.

This is absolutely beautiful. Had me tearing up. Such a wonderful telling of their story.

Omg this is amazing! Hit me right in the feels and the music too! Especially the past and current connected scenes layered over each other. Like that speech Din gave in s2 followed by him officially adopting Grogu. And even the clips of Bo stepping in as his mom. I’ve loved seeing the bond strengthen between these two as the show and Book of Boba Fet have gone on. It’s been a true pleasure. Oh another moment that got me was the widow talking about Grogu being a child for a while cutting to their new house at the end of s3. If Bodin doesn’t work out I ship him with the widow from s1. But anyways, these two and now Bo are the heart and soul of Star Wars now. I loved Grogu saving Din in the finale and the two of them working together after that. He deserved that apprentice upgrade.
