@abraham goodwin I like Soviets but Allies take some real decent micro. It has a higher skill cap as opposed to a flat and effective one. This makes them the strongest but you do need to be good at the game to make them broken.

When it was 5 refs to 3 (and even 2) and when 25:54 started to happen, I actually believed. But then Allies.

@@abdallaha92 Sovs are strong on tier 2, but their tier 3 units are the worst across the board. Either make Dreadnaughts dirt cheap or increase the damage radius (by a lot). Same with V3's.

What an epic game! Dreadnoughts, Kirovs, Apocalipse tanks! All kinds of awesomeness! The Allied player was cool too ofc but Dimon made some epic plays here

Beautiful game, but as always, seems unfair, when allies get to tier 3. The dreadnaught rockets can only randomly hit the targets (you can react to them), while aircraft carriers hit every target perfectly on point, unless you are full on retreating (which means giving up the battle, basically).

Well, soviet terror drone stasis beam can lock unit in place for the rocket to hit, plus the stasis beam somehow disable all aircraft carrier drones, make them drop out the sky when it lock down the carrier (which could be an unintended behaviour and probably even bug). From my experience, the balance problem with ally is their incredible efficiency in trading units in small engagement.

The main issue with Soviets is that they lack the harassment flexibility of the Allies and Empire. Allies have Vindicators while Empire gets Tengus. The Twinblade sounds good on paper but it doesn't have either the burst potential of the Vindicator or the speed of the Tengu.

Amazing video as always! So glad you're back so I don't have to keep rewatching the older games! Especially love the 1v1 games.

So I got this game back runing last year because of this channel and I was super hyped just to realize that all the online players that are left now are all super good so I just got beaten like crazy lol - puled out 1 victory and about 10 defeats. Now I'm just playing brutal CPUs 3v3 LOL Watching these players - man they're good. Even back in 2010 / 2011 when I was at my best I couldn't have competed with these guys on an even level. And I wasn't that bad - mostly ranked within first 100 / 200 at the time...

I will keep saying it the Soviet are underpowered, good game of both of them.

@@asyrafilanuar4972 Nod is one of the most powerful factions in CnC3 and KW. It's generally only behind BH and T59. Soviets in RA3 are very underpowered and routinely have the worst units of any faction. They also have the weakest AA options, compounded by the overpowered Allied air units and Empire Tengu swarms.

this is just my POV. i've made unit comparisons between factions with my brother. we are not pros of course. but i found that soviet is more efficient if focused on only two extremities between land, air, and sea instead of using all three. like when i play as soviet, i'd go for either sea+air, sea+land, or land+air, but never all three combine. may i know your play style?

Vindies was playing recently. Played in the 2v2 tournament and in the 3v3 games the next day.

That Soviet player was amazing. All that advantage, but it doesn't matter. Allies! Cryo and carriers will win the day. At least that is how it seems from an outsiders perspective and seeing replay after replay. I mean, c'mon! Two flank attacks on Allied base, a massive economic lead, and the second carrier showed up things started to turn.

I honestly don't understand why build superweapons. They're a crazy investment, take up a lot of power and time, and as evidenced the return is... 2 power plants 27:45 Best use I've ever seen for iron curtain is insta killing infantry lol

Seriously, the allies are op as fuck tho. The EMP on aircraft carriers, the cryogeddon and cryocopters, the hydrofoils, they got so many things that can halt a push. You'd normally use aa against the carrier drones, but then they'd emp it anyway. Natasha it so slow to make a difference, dreadnoughts just straight up suck. The only solution is to basically not let the allied player take to the waters. Which is like saying "to win, you must not lose." How do you counter a good carrier push as the soviets, for real?

Soviets have 3 powers that kill all infantry. They can one hit kill any building with the vacuum missile and the satellite.

But theyre too expensive, and kirov is too slow. Allied forces has a lot of abilities that can stop a push like cryogeddon, they have the EMP, Cryocopter etc. Allies is a little, but more importantly the soviets needs a buff

Actually 30 min is not too long. But you could cast best of 3 or best of 5's. It really brings the best out of each player. And the cheese.

I would say don't let the length of the game affect whether you're gonna cast it or not, short, long or medium all can be good. I remember when I first played this game online and terror drone rushes ruined me in the first few minutes

Excellent game, both players really matching each other well beat for beat. Around 9min Koji went to like 2 refs to Dimon's 4, I thought he was done, but he held on and kept up harass well enough to stay in! Great showcase of micro tricks, proper tech advancement, and constant back and forth action. Keep up the good casting also :)

How the hell can Kohaji pump out that sheer amount of tier 3 units and still keep pumping out IFVs, cryocopters and peacekeepers? All on 4 refineries??? That does not make any sense

great video great casting. I have been watching your ra3 matches for years but it only came to my notice recently how broken Allied is in this game XD

this game needs something like a community balance patch (mod)

15 to 20 min games are cool. but sometimes you are in the mood for a longer game it depends really. in an ideal world we should have both. but i understand casting games is not easy and the longer they are the harder it is.

Not related but remember how Shogun battleship was accurate at OG RA 3 then get nerfed why they didnt do that on AC

what an epic game. sadly allies' air power is too stronk. though... it felt like terror drone rush couldve destroyed the allied navy at the end. i dont think i saw any riptides

a 30 min long game of how allies is unbalanced and needs absolutely 0 skills to play.

One way to bring down an Allied player is going for the MCV. Dimon should have went for it with the Kirov. New high tech units would not come out and Koji would be sent decades back. Maybe Dimon would have won.

Dreadnoughts are so damn bad as compared to Aircraft Carriers. Their drones need to have a much longer repair and build time.

What if they make drones repair only by those repair drones near navy yard (robors build robots, that's some Skynet stuff) thus they become less expandable. Simply make an indicator like bomb indicator on a century bomber.

I disagree the sweet spot is 20 to 30 cause then there is enough time to see all tiers but anything longer might be a stale game

if allied lose that's mean the player's noob.
