I hope to GOD that Dimmu goes back to this lineup again. Permanently. This performance gave me what I have been longing from Dimmu. It all feels complete again.

My eyes are full of tears I hope I get to see them live.

An army of people in the symphony orchestra and an enormous amount of work, could not replace Vortex's voice.

Vortex's voice sounds just as epic as ever.

I don't know whether they decided to put their differences behind simply because this lineup is much more popular with their fans, or there were creative or friendly reasons behind it - but I'm happy to see them be professionals, put their differences behind and reunite with Vortex and Mustis!

Amazing reunion! Sent chills down my spine! I will always love Dimmu Borgir, no matter the changes. This Norwegian band holds a special place in my black heart.

I've watched footage of this performance posted by several fans and I still can't believe it. The next logical step would be to tour together or dare I say record the next album with this lineup.

It just sounds complete again. I am not sure Tjodalv and Galder had any overlap as I think Astennu ultimately gave Tjodalv the call (1999) and then was in turn out of the band in 2000ish. But, it sounds like it's 1998 again for sure :)

Tjodalv and Galder overlaped only in Old Man's Child. Tjodalv was out of DB in March 1999, while Galder joined the band in August 2000.

That's the problem when you have members with such a sonic personality like Vortex, you can never replace them, you can't play the songs without them, even a choir can't replace the guy. So be reasonable guys, take back this line-up and start again on good foundations.
