I love him as well. 40+ House lover but the only time I saw him live back in 97 in Toronto I was so disappointed. It was like he was playing funky lounge house. So good to see he's still got his groove and bringing the funk.

lopezjuancarlos905 It certainly does mate, I’m talking abt this day and age, by the time house musics evolved from the 70s to now. ‘Disco’ house has come virtually full circle from then and you can feel that within said genre in 2019. Stay feel good uplifting soul from then but in its modern packaging is simply perfect. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

That bass groove in I GET LIFTED at 35:27 is sending a vibration through my entire being. It should go on forever.

I remember seeing Dimitri playing once here at Smart Bar ... he was sipping something in a White Hen Pantry coffee cup. He's the best.

OMG, he made all of these songs sound so fresh and new, what he did with Stacy Lattisaw's Jump To The Beat took me away to another dimension. All his mixes were awesome, wish I was there. Would love to learn from him.
