Да, брат, заслужава го. Но както се казва - Той даде много на Леверкузен, но и Леверкузен му даде много на него. Реално те го изградиха като играч от най-високо Европейско ниво. Той отиде при тях когато те бяха фактор не само в Германия, но и в Европа. Имаха много силен отбор тогава, той отиде много млад и много правилно го наложиха - постепенно. За мен престоя му в Германия е най-важния за кариерата му защото отиде едно талантливо момче от А група и стана нападател от най-висока класа, огромна роля има и Клаус Топмьолер.

During his spell in Leverkusen Berbatov reminded me of Inzaghi. He was always near the goal always scoring tap-ins or one on ones. From time to time he had remarkable headers. But it was during his Tottenham period when he showed how brillian he really is.

Спомням си като отиде в Германия, толкова млад... Успя да играе финал срещу Реал на 21 г, за мен периода му в Леверкузен е най-съществен в кариерата му - откъм развитие като футболист от световна класа.

28 is not at the end of the career that’s called being a young adult. He quit at the age of 37 and most players quit after their 40’s which is considered normal age for an adult. Just look at Van Der Sar.
