You really need to- with or without recording- watch Dimash’s video for this song. More powerful and epic than any video I have ever seen. Nuanced and stark at times, a cinematic and musical masterpiece.

This song is definitely on another level. Dimash put his heart and his soul into this song (which by the way is his own composition). Even though you prefer live songs, I strongly recommend that you watch the MV of this song. It is a masterpiece. Experiencing him life is a must in ones lifetime. A 3 hour spectacle flashing by like a deep sigh. I was so lucky to attend his concert in Budapest. For me the story of one sky was the climax I was waiting for. This masterpiece took my breath away, sended chills trough my whole body while sobbing my eyes out. When the last note was still flooting trough the air leaving the spectators in complete awe, every one jumpted up the same time, like in a given command, a total standing ovation to express our deep appreciation and gratitude for experiencing such a powerful, meaningful and needed message in this turmoil and divided world. Dimash is a prophet. The word 'prophet' doesn't necessarily need to refer to a religious phenomenon.. and then again it often does. It can refer to anyone who delivers messages or teachings from a supernatural source like a divine being.. such as the great spirit mother Earth who I believe is our mother and who I call Eden.. and one who acts as an intermediary with humanity.. which Dimash has done time and time again. If you do not consider or respect our Earth as a 'supernatural' or 'divine being', then you regress from the common respect we all have for all religions, because I do. Dimash is also a messenger for ALL religions.. listen to him sing "The Story of One Sky".. and "We need Peace" at the end. And as far as a prophecy is concerned.. you will find one in Dimash's "Qairan Elim." Prophethood has existed in all cultures of humanity.. they can also give us messages about our inner self and our place in our world.. like Dimash does with his mastery of symbolism in "When I've Got You." Regarding the music video (essential to understand the entire message), a comment quoted from @ruthmanning105 The ‘Story of One Sky’ - an important fact which you may not know: Every 3 years the ‘Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions’ is held in Kazakhstan. The Congress reports directly back to the United Nations’ and the final message at the end of ‘One Sky’ is a quote from the report submitted in 2019. In September 2022 Dimash was invited to perform at the ‘Seventh Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions’ and actually premiered (singing ‘live’) “The Story of One Sky” to over 100 religious leaders at this ‘closed’ event. These leaders responded with a standing ovation and referred to ‘One Sky’ as the unofficial anthem of the event. The following day Dimash was presented to Pope Francis and was given a medal and he received a blessing from the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Whamad el-Tayeb. So, choosing both the quote at the end of the song/MV and what he chooses to do in the ‘vocalise’ section of the song then becomes, to me anyway, more poignant and powerful. In the ‘vocalise’ there is, at the very least, the Muslim call to prayer, the Jewish Shofar, the Om of Buddhism and Hinduism and the bells of the Christian church so he has woven musical references of the world’s faiths together - WOW!
