I know the VOICE is an instrument. Dimash is his own UNIQUE Instrument. There are Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, Strings, etc, but None of them are Dimash! Dimash is in his own category! Dimash is the EXPERIENCE! ❤

20 seconds, not 15. Been timed by several reactors (and me 😉). That's counting from his breath.

Most reactors ask about the Kazakh instrument we see at the beginning, so I will tell you that it's called a Kobyz and the cert talented musician who is a master of this instrument is Olzhas Qurmanbek. If you carry on reacting to Dimash & look at his fabulous Kazakh folk songs, you will see this instrument as well as a 2 stringed instrument, which Dimash plays really well, called a Dombra. I don't know if you have been told that Dimash plays around 7 instruments as well as being a gifted composer himself too. Thank you for another great reaction 😊🙏💕

I'm so happy to have found your channel! I'm enjoying you a lot, thank you!About 15 seconds on the last note; then go back to the last time he took the breath he sustained it on and you get a few more seconds! It's difficult to be exact but most people seem to come up with 18 to 19 seconds!! He must have extra 🫁🫁🫁🫁🫁 somewhere. 😂

He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Kobysz for that. The kobyz is a very old two stringed Kazakh folk instrument and it’s wide spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him.The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash when he first heard him. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range (no kidding), like Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You'll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It's more of a father-son relationship. I'm looking forward to your reaction to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019 next. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯 kzread.info/dash/bejne/lp-EtZitaJfXl5c.html Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

In your previous reaction to Dimash, in Sinful Passion, there was a run at the end that was 24 seconds in one breath. This long belted held note was about 19 and a half seconds. Something fun and modern from Dimash to watch is Be With Me, official MV. ❤❤😊😊

Today it is all working again 🤗 so I returned to leave this comment for ya.😀 It's also a favorite here; just about with everyone I guess!❤ So thanks for taking a chance and getting it through successfully. Also, I ❤ your channel music! Very classy🤩

I agree this is my favourite of the ones you have done so far. I think that I listen daily to this one, Know, Love of Tired Swans, Duderai, Qairan Elim, Daididau, Samaltau, Love is like a dream, Daybreak, Omir, Ikanaide and Autumn Strong and more "modern" ones like Be With Me, Fly Away and Screaming. I also regularly watch both the music video and the concert version of The Story of One Sky - truly amazing. (Before I sound truly pathetic I should probably explain that I have been isolating with Covid for nearly 3 weeks now and don't have the energy to do much so exploring the world of music videos and reactions to same has been my salvation and new obsession for now).

"That" is ethnic/tribal singing, similar to Kazakh and other Asian techniques. And, a 19 second belt note. He's done it before.

OK, you can't do Dimash without sidestepping into Diana Ankudinova. Just can't. Richenka, Human, Wicked Game, and Can't Help Falling in Love are the utube faves. You WILL be awed by this girl. Richenka is from when she was 14. Prepare to be…dumbfounded.
