Whenever Igor Krutoy is at the piano it is a song he wrote, often specifically for Dimash but sometimes, like this one it is an older song. He came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash (you see him standing in a white shirt, clapping, at the end of Sinful Passion.) If you Google Igor you will find his net worth listed by Forbes in 2012 at upwards of $13B.

This song has an early theme of being fatalistic about love fading, but at the end the character defies that rule. That defiance is a very strong push and can't be done gently, as in "don't go gently into that good night". It was written in 1994 when Dimash was born. He's not in a position to change those themes and the requisite dynamics. It would be out of character. The song was written by the Igor Krutoy at the piano, who re-arranged the song for Dimash who is singing it here at the tribute concert for Alla Pugacheva, the first singer of the song. She had a different voice and sang it differently, perhaps even more defiantly at the end. Dimash does have some songs that don't use much of his range and power. They don't get the big headlines, but fill out a concert nicely. The listener just can't listen to the big blasting power for 4 hours. He does a fun song in a somewhat MJ style in the Be With Me music video. Many of his Kazakh songs use a moderate amount of his range and dynamics and many of them tie back to traditional Kazakh folk music style. His one song in Japanese, Ikanaide, is fairly delicate and has moderate dynamics, but still some high range.

It's Igor Krutoy behind the Piano! Well known Russian composer. He composed most of Dimash songs. Like "Ave Maria", this song, "Your love" (one beautiful underrated song. Look at the scene, the music, the colour, the..building up..everything!) "Love of tired swans" (my forever love song). "Olympico" and maaany more. Igor was retired but now back just for Dimash. They are close friends. I love how humble, gentle, polite and always gives gratitude to everyone one the stage. Like musicians, choir, Igor etc..

Igor Krutoy is the composer. It sounds like a demotion to call him the piano player. He's really helped Dimash advance in his career. Yes, Dimash has performed a few quieter songs, like "If I Never Breathe Again."

The man behind the piano is Igor Krutoy. Mr. Krutoy is a famous Ukrainian/Russian composer and producer who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. If you see him at the piano, it is either a piece he wrote specifically for Dimash (Olympico, Ave Maria, Your Love, etc.) or written for another artist and adapted for Dimash. I agree, the reactor doesn't read our comments. I wonder why he does these reactions at all. I haven't watched his reactions to other artists but he sits with a stone face while Dimash is singing his heart out, as if he isn't moved by the music at all, then stops the video in the middle of an exquisite note to make a comment. This reactor doesn't understand that Dimash plans his songs, performances and videos to the most minute details and thus the reactor starts the video, not at the beginning in which a feeling of suspense is being built with extended silence. No, he sets it up to start a second before Dimash sings, mindlessly obliterating the carefully staged scene. In addition to all these things, he listens without earphones which causes the sound coming to me through my speakers as if Dimash is singing in a barrel. I realize these comments are useless since the reactor obviously doesn't read them but I am unsubscribing also.

I mean to ask if Dimash has been trained or is this just a natural gift that was self-taught? At the very least, a reactor should do some research on the artist. Wikipedia anyone?

It is alright cos we don't know how busy this person is. We continue to promote our dear Dimash. Everyone has one's own time to really really appreciate and go deep into Dimash songs. It took me a few years later to really appreciate Dimash. Just sharing my experience

The Bastua concert …Dimash’s flirts solo concert…Aida and Daididua….and Autumn strong from singer 2017…He stays within the size of both songs….There are so many…And Marigolds…

Его мама была в зале и плакала слушая его исполнение Listen to the Ukrainian song "Chornobrivtsi" performed by Dimash from the Kyiv concert. There he is very soft, gentle and soulful. His mother was in the audience and cried listening to his performance.
