SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! SOS is an existentialist song about death, ups and downs in life and death, when you feel you don’t belong here. Dimash is the Most Skilled Vocalist ever!!! Technically and artistically that’s a fact. His versatility, wide range, stage presence, performance, background, technique, creativity, powerful and beautiful voice makes him all in one 🔝🔝🎤❤️🌹 The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist, turned 28 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, he also performs in concerts with the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He is about to finish his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 15 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. He is kind, humble, generous and modest, very elegant and very tall, Dimash is 6ft 3, 1/4.

Буквально на днях один музыкальный критик из Турции Эмре Yücelen анализируя взятую ноту D8 на Гакку УМЫТЫЛМАС КУН, сказал, что Димаш феномен, такого как он не было ранее, и что получается, ради Димаша, нужно создать новое фортепиано, так как на существующем инструменте просто не хватает нот)..... Dimash's voice is like a finely tuned instrument. He posses multiple voice types :bass, baritone, tenor, countertenor and soprano. His vocal pallette is almost unheard for a male singer. His vocal range is 6 octaves ( from F2 - D8 ) recently. His whistle register goes up to G#7 before China Singing Competition, but on the 16 September, he broke his personal highest note with a whistle register, D8 at Gakku Music Festival Almaty, Kazakhstan. The D8 note (4500-4800hz) which is 6 keys higher than G#7 and 2 keys surpassed the 88 piano C8. The whistle (C8-D8) with vibrato (5 sec). This is how talent makes a sense. After attending such a performance, you can't be anything else but a "dimash addict".

This was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and doesn't speak any Chinese] , and least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode]. This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely.

it should say Vitas` Opera 2. He made it popular in China. Vitas was born in Odessa, Ukraine, but has been living in Moscow for many years. He is another super talented singer, but in his late 30s, I believe. Has two beautiful children and a wife> Check out Vitas` singing of his song Opera2 with subtitles. It`s on KZread. Dimash is an ArchAngel and I`m grateful for his presence and for inspiring and uplifting us all with his voice. (he must have been led by MJ from another realm)

HI MichiKent Congratulations to all who fell in love with the talent of Dimash I have heard a lot of performers singing that song, and I think that Dimash is the best and for much, nobody has sung that song like him, i really didn't like the song before, till now. Since I heard Dimash singing S.O. S d'un terrien en detresse i have listened the song like a thousands times and I don't get bore. I have heard the song interpreted by Gregory Remarshal, Bruno Pettettier, Kairat Tuntenkov, Daniel Balavaine, Hellene Segara and many others and I did't care about what they sang, When i heard this guy singing this song i was mesmerized, i couldn't believe what i was hering, it was amazing, I thought how can someone sing like that, he was perfect. I copy the song, I translated it and I learnt it, I have seen so many videos and I end up here , telling about what I think, and it was amazing. unbelievable

The fireworks was musically so perfect on it's place here. Such a beautiful song and well written arrangement but in other songs I heard from him, it's less deep, more showing off his talents. But who will write songs for this guy that allow him to sing with feel, with depth??
