Dimash discovered this song as a young boy having been inspired by Gregory's story, his versions of the song, and his death at the age of 23. Later Dimash's best friend, champion Olympic skater Denis Ten (both of whom are from Kazakhstan) was murdered at the age of 25 by hoodlums stealing items off of his car. Dimash sing the song with great passion every time in honor of both of them. Dimash speaks four languages and sings in over two dozen of them. His pronunciation is often not perfect, but the passion with which he sings always relays the message perfectly.

Bonsoir, merci beaucoup pour cette réaction à Dimash, pour moi le meilleur chanteur au monde. Dimash est né au Kazakhstan, il parle le kazakh et le russe (ce sont les deux langues pratiquées dans son pays. Il a appris le chinois et l'anglais mais chante en 15 langues étrangères. Il joue de 7 instruments de musique et surfe sur 7 octaves. Sa voix est impressionnante, je l'ai découvert comme vous sur cette reprise de Daniel autant dire que je suis restée sans voix. Depuis 4 ans il ne se passe pas un jour sans que je ne l'écoute. Hormis ses talents en tant que chanteur il faut savoir qu'il est également compositeur, acteur, producteur (je dois en oublier certainement). Mais ce qui est le plus frappant c'est son humilité, sa gentillesse et la proximité qu'il a avec ses fans qu'il appelle "dears". Ne vous étonnez pas si dans les commentaires vous rencontrez ce terme. Cette vidéo date de 2017, il avait 22 ans. Depuis il a fait énormément de progrès vocalement parlant. Excellente première réaction. Imaginez que dans cette émission télévisée, Dimash chantait en français, russe, anglais, chinois et dans sa langue maternelle kazakhe. Ensuite, il ne parlait que le kazakh et le russe. De l'anglais, il ne connaissait que « bonjour » et « au revoir ». Dans d'autres interprétations de la chanson, « SOS » ne dit pas « s » à la fin du mot. Apparemment, la tension a eu un impact. Je serai heureux d'en savoir plus sur Dimash. Dimash ist ein großartiger Künstler aus Kasachstan und ich finde es einfach nur genial, in wie vielen Sprachen er singen kann. OK , der Akzent kommt immer wieder durch, aber man braucht für seinen Gesang keine Übersetzung! Er überzeugt mit seinen stimmlichen, genialen Fähigkeiten und hat eine unglaubliche Bühnenpräsenz. Bonjour, Dimash n’est pas connu en France, parce il ne fait pas partie du " système show business ". Deplus depuis de nombreuses années la politique française ( ministre de la culture ) demande aux radios , et a la télévision de favoriser les chanteurs français contre l’envahissement il y a quelques années la musique anglo-saxons Personnellement je suis Dimash depuis 2017 il est vraiment exceptionnel par sa voix ,sa technique et sa personnalité. Je l’écoute pratiquement tout les jours ❤

Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a twenty-nine year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. He sings in 16 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble and kind man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZread channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. Enfin un KZreadr Français qui aime Dimash ! En fait non, j'ai connu quelques Français qui l'aiment (surtout des femmes), mais la plupart des Français qui commentent Dimash le boudent, disent que c'est de la performance vocale sans âme, que c'est "pas mal" (avec pas mal de mépris)... Bref. Sans être un fan inconditionnel de ce chanteur, je suis quand même époustouflé par ses capacités ET par l'investissement qu'il met dans toutes ses performances. Ce n'est pas toujours de mon goût, mais c'est toujours un régal à voir et à entendre. Bien sûr, pas mal de fans (les dears) te recommanderont plein de chansons et tu ne sauras pas lesquelles choisir pour la suite. Moi je dirais Sinful passion, Love is like a dream, Hello (cover de lionel Richie), Olympico, sans oublier le très étonnant Ave Maria. SOS d’un terrien en détresse est devenu la chanson phare de Dimash, qu’il chante a chacun de ses concerts. La prestation que vous venez de voir s’est passée en Chine, où Dimash chanta pour la première fois pour un public chinois. Il était bien entendu très angoissé parce que s’il n’arrivait pas à se classer aux six premières places dans les deux premiers épisodes, il se trouverait éliminé. A mon avis, c’est pour cela qu’il a fait des fautes de prononciation (ce qu’il n’a jamais fait ni avant ni après) et qu’il s’est embrouillé un peu dans les paroles. Si vous écoutez sa prestation de SOS dans le Digital Show de 2021, non seulement il ne fait aucune faute, mais il démontre aussi une grande croissance de ses capacités vocales. Después de su interpretación en China, Dimash fué invitado a un programa en Francia para cantar éste mismo tema, el público se puso de pie para aplaudir a Dimash, que en ese tiempo apenas contaba con 22 años de edad. His upper range is unattainable even for Mariah Carey. In one of his songs, Dimash performed the note D8! This note is not on the piano! Watch other performances of Dimash, just wear diapers. This is an old version since then he has perfected his words and improved the song. I recommend his Slavic Bazaar version, it's truly my favorite.
