I'm a tad worried on singer reactions in case of issues, and want to move on to his and Glorias Channel in order to prevent that... but i'm getting a lot of requests for it... so! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Yes! This is the first video I saw of Dimash in the summer of 2017. I thought he came across as very cocky and didn’t think I would watch any more of him because of that. Thankfully his voice just amazed me and I HAD to see more. I learned while binge watching his The Singer performances that he creates an “atmosphere” (or character) for each song based on its emotion and lyrical intent. This song is fun and flirty and that’s just his character for this song. He is confident in his vocal skills but is very humble and modest. He also works harder at his passion than anyone I know. While preparing for his Shenzhen concert he practiced a drum solo over 500 times. In. A. Row. He is also his own worst critic but is very devoted to family and his Dears. It’s never too soon to be a Dear! I belong to the Dimash USA Fan Club and DKIFC (Dimash Kudaibergen International Fan Club). I highly recommend joining his fan clubs. We get extra news about him, quicker access to new performances and tons of pics! Welcome to your new life, Dear!

I'm so incredibly amazed by him, AND his dears :). I absolutely saw that he was creating a massive, enticing atmosphere... I can't wait to see more. It's so incredibly captivating... Oh my god, he practiced 500 times...? I completely respect him being his own worst critic, that's very important I believe! Thank you so very kindly for the warm welcome... I think i'm starting to get enough comments welcoming me that i'd like to start calling myself a dear... Once I get more of a grip on what i'm doing i'd definitely love to join fanclubs! @@Wehttam You're going to find yourself so captivated my his voice and his persona (if you watch his interviews) that you'll find yourself as mesmerized as the rest of us. Oh, and keep the tissues handy on occasion. One thing that needs mentioning is that when Dimash started this competition, he was learning different songs phonetically, WITH ONLY A WEEK IN WHICH TO DO IT, which included input in arrangements, researching the song so that he could convey the meaning, etc. So when you do watch his earlier English performances, don't be too hard on him. He's worked so hard during this past year that his progress is unbelievable.

Hi Gockcoblin! Thank you for reactions to Dimash. He really deserves such admiration. Nowadays Dimash is extremely popular in China. His popularity in Russia and another post-soviet countries is raising, especially after the release of his new song in Russian language in November 2018. As you may already know, Dimash was born in Kazakhstan, that’s why he loves and propagandizes Kazakh culture. So, besides above-mentioned recommendations (Adagio, Late Autumn, Sinful Passion and so on), I’d recommend you to see his “Daididau” performance in Kazakh language (also in the framework of chinese “I am Singer” contest). First time seeing you do a reaction video and I can tell you are just as enthralled with Dimash as the rest of us. I can tell you have a very sweet personality and no, It is not boring watching you. If you feel the need to stop the video a lot, ok, but I have to say if you sit back and go along on the journey he brings your soul on, you will be too consumed by emotion to even speak. I find one appreciates what he has to give if this is the approach taken, with the reactor voicing his thoughts after the video is over. I am so enthralled it's unbelievable. I didn't expect it at all, every single video captures me more and more, and his Dears are just expanding my experience in such an incredible way. I really appreciate those kind words, (I should learn not to watch myself back :p). I'll try my best to do that! I still haven't learned to edit properly, so by the time the video is over, I NEVER know what to say, I lose my thoughts REALLY fast unless i get them out, which is why sometimes I stop the video... and say NOTHING. (It can be grating, I know!). Yeah that's a big worry of mine, (trying to be entertaining through the video). It's the cycle of having seen how KZread works for popularity, however I don't care so much about it, I just want to have fun and bring others SOME form of joy myself! (that doesn't stop me from subconsciously thinking im boring unfortunately... in due time!). Thank you SO much for this. I'll try and worry less about talking, and rely on my facial expressions! (I trust in them enough!). (BROKEN RECORD, I thank you for possibly sticking around and watching with me! It's been a goal for a long time to become a reactor and overcome the fear of being HATED. Staccato notes at that high of a pitch are incredibly difficult. The reason you were surprised by them is you don't hear any guy do that. The reason they don't is that it is so hard and risky that the voice will crack.

He's doing this live in his second performance in a competition. I don't know any other male singer that can do what he did in a recording studio. The song is incredibly hard and has been sung successfully by several other singers who generally repeat the chorus with a half-step up. Dimash does three half steps up and tosses in the staccato.

In case you did not know, right at the end, after Dimash throws out his arms, finishing the song.....the next shot is of a man with a blue tint on his face, that is his father. Also did you know that Dimash is 6’3” tall? 24 years old. Plays piano, guitar, drums (excellent drummer!! And probably more instruments too. ) By the way, when you said “How Dare You”....I immediately thought “How DEAR You”....ha ha! I am not an official Dear but I am a fan for LIFE! He is Other-Worldly!!

Yes I agree with you, the # of views is wrong and misleading. Since the beginning of The Singer 2017 which was held in China, countless views was recorded and it is now 2019 and there are still thousands or even millions still view Dimash performances. You can't get tired of it. This is a Russian song by Vitas a well known king of falsetto. Dimash had rearranged this melody and made it his own which he also rearranged all the songs he competed with.

Dimash is unique, his voice has some magic power that some of us can not resist from listening him again and again. I am looking forward to your next reaction. Hi Gockcoblin. I watched both of your reactions of Dimash. It is typical that 99% of people who hear Dimash were shocked of his vocal abilities. But you are one of those who immediately realized that his voice is not just a sound but message. He talks to us. He combined music and words into full package. And i am not sure that this package makes by his own brain. I think he is just a transmitter. He is gifted boy. Some people call him an Angel, another ones an Alien. Anyway he is a Stranger or a Traveller. Out of this World, out of this Time. His body is just his cover. And when i look deeply into his eyes i understand that he feels it and he feels his mission, predetermination and to some extent his doom. I don't want to compare him to special persons like Jesus Christ or Buddha. But it's very similar.

I'm forever shocked... That means a lot to me for you to say that. I don't see myself like that in person, so it's very humbling to hear it from others! He DOES talk to us... I have to split up how many of his videos I do, because I get too emotional, even just thinking about the videos I've already seen - or like right now... talking to you about it I get teary! This video of Dimash is my favorite. His face here is not just gorgeous, it's very seductive. He's like a charming "devil" ( in a good way ), looking at all those people and mentally setting them up to adore him. I am not even talking about his voice... everyone on youtube says Dimash is an alien for singing like no human can do. Some even say that he's like fictional James Bond, effortlessly surviving many dangerous situations, Dimash is effortlessly singing that way without breaking his voice. Oh, boy!!! 😍

I really, really enjoyed this one, though I know a couple don't have it as a favorite! I can't imagine there will be a single song I don't like, i'm already captivated entirely by Dimash, it's too late for me now. I agree with all of that! hahaha, He's GREAT.

Side note: When you see his head move up and down on the high notes that is the sound waves vibrating the bones in his skull.........He looks like he is having a seriously good time though. I love seeing people who love their jobs and don't try to hide it.

You might consider joining Dimash Kudaibergen International Fan Club (DKIFC). They keep it all in English. They have a world of information, pictures, song lyrics etc. plus they keep us current on Dimash's next performances. Hope to see you there. Also, could you maybe not pause it so much during the reaction...You can always do it after. By pausing you would not catch the half note he was going up each time.. I know you have to have about three short pauses because of possible copyright violation charges. But Singer has been gracious enough not to do it and if they get on a random kick, you can challenge it and they usually remove. You are such a Dimash Dear, lol. Welcome to the club. Those were other contestants and Dimash won the first episode for SOS and this second episode with Opera 2. He took second overall in the competition.

Yes. The singer who won "Singer 2017" was Sandy Lam, a Chinese music industry veteran of 30 years. Her songs are very well known and someone said she is sort of the equivalent of Barbara Streisand.

"Singer" is a Chinese competition show for established stars where voting is done by a specially selected 500 member audience. The musically discerning group is age balanced between young and old. Each member votes for three favorite performances of that episode. Eight singers compete on each show and the one with the least votes is kicked off. Because it focuses on singing, a performer can use no more than two of their own compositions. The show is well run with great lighting, cinematography, musical direction and superb background singers and musicians.

Dimash was a complete unknown Kazakh, the youngest contestant. He was welcomed and supported by the audience and the show was the key to take him to the next level. He expresses nothing but appreciation for the show and for the reception by the Chinese.
