Riko Dear, Dimash sang the entire song in Italian. The lyrics are by a Russian poet who wrote the text in Italian. And the Italian dears tell us that his Italian is impeccable. Dimash sings five octaves. "Ogni pietra" was composed by Maestro Igor Krutoi, who was invited to write a hymn or anthem for the 2nd European Olympics, held in Minisk, Belarus (White Russia) in mid-June 2019. Igor accepted the invitation, but he wrote a song that nobody would be able to perform, except for Dimash! He sang the song in Minsk dressed in the Qazaqstan flag, presumably to stress the fact that Qazaqstan is partly a European nation. The current performance was recorded at his three-hour solo concert at Arnau, Nur-Sultan, Qazaqstan, 29 June 2019, before an audience of 40,000 people from 50 countries. And it was raining in torrents.

This concert was in his home country Kazakhstan at Arnau. This song that is Italian is just the first of a lot of songs Igor plans to come up with just for Dimash to help his career. That is why in a lot of recent songs Igor is playing the piano because they have become a super duo. Dimash has been studying Mandarin & English & dance to get better & he has a lot of performances with dancers. Correct. Russian composer Igor Krutoi. Russian poet and interpreter Vinogradova. Finally kazakh unique singer Dimash realised it.

Igor Krutoy was commissioned to write this song for the European Olympic games - that is why the screens and dancers echoed that event. Krutoy asked Dimash if he would sing this for the opening ceremonies, asking him which part he would like to sing...... Dimash said "Both".

I was there!!! I couldn’t breathe!!! Gosh... he is the ONE!! The vocal king!!!

Dimash is not possessed he is just so passionate and when he sing a song he gets into the emotion of the song. That’s a true talent of a great artist. Every song he sings he conveys the message of the song as he did in Ogni Pietra which was composed for him by Igor Krutoy and performed for the opening of the European Olympic Games in Minski City . Dimash has studied Classical and Contemporary music in Academy in Aktobe for 20 yrs.. That is why he has 6 Octave vocal range and a very good vocal control and technique and can sing any kind of song in 12 languages. He is unique in his style of singing and no one can do what he does. I’m a big fan of Dimash since Singer 2;017 where he became famous after he sang in the ist episode SOS where he captivated his Chinese audience with his incredible vocal range and style of singing and his charisma with his handsome look. He is the total package of a Star.

The Arnau concert was a mega production this was just one song from a concert that was nearly 3 hours long. By the way he is singing in about 12 languages, he's fluent in Kazakh and Russian and is learning English and Chinese.

Dimash that song in particular is in Italian, Dimash sings in different styles and voices and has sung in more than 1 dozen songs in different languages. Enjoy the experience of a master.

Hey Riko - I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction, that was great! The dancers were a modern element, plus the instrumental music (by Maestro Igor Krutoy) itself is a fusion of classical and techno. Dimash was singing traditional opera, but I don't think it's traditional to have just 1 person sing the baritone, tenor & soprano parts! Groundbreaking!!!

Brilliant reaction bud, this cantata was written for Dimash by Igor Krutoy for the opening ceremony of the recent European games in Minsk and You were quite right this is in Italian, during this Arnau concert he sang 30 songs in three hours and in 6 or 7 different languages.
