Dimash won't dumb down music not even for a million dollars, he has integrity and in fact he left an American music contest because they didn't abide the rules, he walked away no problem for him and when records producers approach him with the wrong idea Dimash politely declined and then run in the opposite direction. He knows what his talent is and he honor God for giving him such a talent.

Ну вот есть "Love is not over yet" Ф.Компаньона и У.Афанасьеффа, уже не один год есть, уже и оркестровку записали, но всё никак не могут родить. То ли Афанасьефф требует шальных денег за неё, то ли ещё что-то... Вот такой пример песни от именитых композиторов. Это с Крутым всё легко получилось, но это не означает, что всегда будет легко...

Aloha from Hawaii... I flew 11 hours to see Dimash in New York at his 1st USA solo concert on December 10, 2019 at Barclays... he performed 20 songs in 6 languages and spoke to us in English in-between, changed outfits 4 times, jumped off stage to run around and interact with the crowd twice... and he sounded amazing to the very last note... this incredible "Arnau Envoy" concert is on his yt channel... and you can bet I'll travel anywhere to see Dimash live again :)

I have been to his concert in NYC & he sang songs right after another. His concerts are almost 3 hours long & it is full of energy. I can’t wait to see him in another concert.

This song is easy for him, he doesn't need to rest. With a 6.5 octave range (possibly 7) he has been heard in his dressing room warming up before a concert singing "Queen Of The Night." This is possibly The most difficult Operatic soprano aria that there is. He then goes out and does a 3 hour show. Included is the song "Olimpico" which was written specially for him by Igor Krutoy. This is so difficult that no opera singer could sing it. He often practices 3 hours a day, and also swims lengths under water to improve his lung capacity. After the pandemic he's coming to the USA, I'd say 2-3 years and he'll be the biggest name in world music. He can do what everyone else can do, but Nobody can do what he can do. 😃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

I agree with you, the only thing that worries me is that many record companies will not like it and let's say to the large masses I think you can tattoo with a thousand people who will make your way not so easy but for that we are the shots and it is slow to get it done.

@ Alex...you said you wanted to hear Dimash sing Queen of the Night. Look for the Y T reactor Bangkok Vocal Coach. The video is something like Top Ten Queen of the Night and there's a parrot in the thumb nail. The short clip was filmed by Crazy Makks, a good friend of Dimash.

Dimash was invited as a guest singer that year to celebrate the ending of that year's competition. The people in the lit room were the competitors. Dimash competed in 2017 as a wild card. It was the first time the show had a foreigner compete. It was created to showcase established Chinese singers. He was invited again in 2019. He performed with one of the groups competing called, The Super Vocal Boys. They did an amazing medley tribute to Queen. The Singer program is what gained him his fame and he is forever grateful to the Chinese fans for their support

In 2017, Dimash was invited to China as a contestant. In 2018, he was invited as an honorary guest, a pop star. For Dimash, the most famous Russian composer and producer Igor Krutoy began to write songs, even to the words of Lara Fabian. Igor often plays the piano. I hasten to please you. Dimash plans to move to live and work in the United States.

He in in The Ukraine right now working on a project. I am sure that if you contacted his management team with a great song,...His arranger always looks at the arrangement...even with Igor Krutoy music (who is a billionaire). He said recently that his team is working with Korean, Chinese, Russian and American writers...believe it or not,... the Dears are trying to find someone to write a great SPANISH song for Dimash. He has Spanish fans begging for that to happen,...and he said he will do that someday. If you can write,...bring it!!!!!!! It is nearly 3 years since this "Hello" song and his English has improved enough to where he did his first all English interview (MTV Friday Night Livestreams with Kevan Kenney), without a translator by his side. His English has vastly improved. Rumor has it he will be getting his Doctorate degree in the States. He just recently finished his masters this last year.

He just did an online concert. It was amazing. He introduced Kazakhstan music and integrated eastern instruments with western music. He wants to win a Grammy for a Kazakhstan song. His latest MV is Golden. It’s a mini movie with a good beat and kind of main stream. He plans on moving to America. His dad runs his studio. Dimashali. I think Dimash will redefine music.

I don’t want to see Dimash go too commercial and lower his standards ....but instead lift listeners up. The American formulaic pop industrial hit machine needs to die. It’s so empty. Igor Krutoy, the famous Russian composer came out of retirement to work with him. They are a great team. Dimash brings a new breath of fresh air. Just because Dimash is not the typical radio fare means nothing in the realm of fans or success. Ask the Dears. Did you ever hear Pavoratti on the radio? Yet his concerts were always sold out. Look at the story of the rock band Rush. Same thing....die hard fans who have stood with them for 40 yrs as they were marginalized by the top 40 industry. And now.....they are being celebrated as master icons top of the mountain. Which they are. The industry kills art. It takes a steak and turns it into a Big Mac. This performance was a guest appearance on the Singer show the following year (2018) after his first competing on it in 2017. That first performance of SOS on the show brought him worldwide exposure and subsequent notoriety. A beautiful human being with a phenomenal gift. He works hard and has not wasted it. His charisma is undeniable. You can teach vocal technique, but you cannot teach the soul behind the voice.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I hope he doesn’t go mainstream and sing just pop to be heard or recognized in the USA. HIs talent is far beyond that. No disrespect to pop artists, but let’s face it we do need true artistry to return in the musical world. Something that I believe we’ve lost many years ago. Just my opinion though. ✌️

Eter Puralis I Hope Dimash hits number one and is heard on all radio stations in America, but I just don’t want him to loose him self during the process. I’m really not sure how to explain it and I do have confidence in him as he is extremely intelligent. I guess, I just want for Americans to see and respect his wonderful talent without them taking him in whole different direction as to what they want him to sing or become. I so enjoyed his new song Be With Me. As a matter of fact I loved it! He’s just fantastic in all his genres. So, I’m not trying to say he should only focus on one. I just fear him signing a contract with someone who might deceive him in anyway. Your right though. There are lot artists that are great and they aren’t mainstream, which quite frankly I do not understand.

Brenda Guerin I agree, he doesn’t. In all honesty, I sometimes wonder weather he should even bother! I fear of him coming here might just do more harm then good for him at this point. From what I’ve noticed from our current music industry here, isn’t at all, what I would consider to be good. In fact, for me it’s just the opposite. However, I do know that it’s one of his dreams and I would love to share his experience in him achieving it. He most certainly deserves it! 😊

He doesn't need paid advertising because his fans will do it for free. They genuinely love this artist so much that they want to make him known at all costs. Some claim he provides them to overcome depression, others say he has changed their lives with his music, some fans even believe he is an angel or a superhuman. If you send in that Michael Jackson had some diehard fans, Dimash fans, who call themselves Dears, are clearly above them all. As soon as I heard his voice, I was immediately impressed in 2017. No wonder his fans are obsessed, his voice is incredible and, at first glance, he also seemed like a very humble person. The 26-year-old Kazakhstan artist reached stardom for the first time after participating in some national competitions and spreading his fame abroad, taking second place in the Chinese program - I Am A Singer 2017-. WOW Jose, your comment on Dimash is great 👍👍👏 THANK YOU for that 🙏And I agree with you in every single sentence. Dimash goes HIS OWN way and he goes damn well! No matter from which point of view you look at him, whether as an artist or as a person ... he is unbelievable and my greatest role model!

I attended the concert in New York in December 2019. He sang for about two hours forty-five minutes. He does take breaks during the show, but he also moves fairly quickly from one song to the next. Most of his breaks between songs he talks for a couple minutes. He also takes longer breaks for costume changes, and I am sure vocal breaks. His training helps him to do what seems to be impossible. This performance was the year after he competed on Singer 2017. He was invited back to sing on this episode the following year. He did a digital concert in January of this year, and the last song of the concert may just be his #1 hit internationally. It can't be found anywhere at this point. It actually took us all by surprise, he has never done anything like it, or even close to like it before. It is not your normal "pop" song either. He has hinted it should be publicly released soon. They will be releasing that concert on DVD, and probably a downlad in the near future. The best place to inquire about sending him material would be through DimashAli. Я очень часто думаю также как мистер Харрис, мы очень любим слушать американскую музыку , но нужно быть честным ,чтобы так сказать , искренне , прочувствовал все минусы .Недавно пересматривала Майкла Джексона его историю жизни и неужели никто в этой огромной стране не мог его защитить ,его музыка и слова все было для нас....Димаш это лучшее ,что сейчас есть и если ты МАЙКЛ слышишь а я пишу вслух ,пусть он будет тем ,всем ,что ты не допел...и никто , никогда не попадался ему в жизни в облике не человечном , я очень хочу ,чтобы его был путь светлым а мы всегда будем рядом.

We cannot evaluate Dimash on normal standards. 😅 His solo concerts were like almost 3 hours of perfection. But I heard he rested his voice for a full day before and after each concert, not talking to anyone. After each concert, he went back an. and rest while others in the team went out to celebrate. He was a guest during this performance in 2018. He was a contestant on that show in 2017 , so the next year they invited him as a guest and he gave this performance of “Hello”. He stopped attending competition shows after “The World’s Best” which he did in USA in early 2019. He quit that show in the finals to let the children contestants to proceed instead. After that show he said he would not attend any more competition shows going forward, which was a decision long overdue because anyone with functioning ears can tell how he is too skillful and too amazing of a singer to go on these shows anymore. He has no competition skill-wise. In the past these shows helped him reach an international audience but it was time (in 2019) to no longer do them any longer. I mean honestly none of the judges on any show out there possess half of his skillset nor musical knowledge, so it was pretty ridiculous when this unique and superb talent would be even put in front of “judges”. He has since then focused on his career and even had gone on a world tour (please watch performances from his concerts on that tour). Since 2017/2018 he has gotten more famous worldwide (and he still needs to be more known, so hopefully in a few years he will conquer more ears and hearts) and he even gave a sold-out concert at Barclays Center in NYC in October 2019 which you can find on his own KZread Channel , so please check it out.

He was in the Singer competition in China in 2017. This performance was a guest appearance at the finale for the 2018 competition. He did the World's Best competition in the US in 2018. The show was a mess, and he withdrew before the final (which he was probably going to win) because he didn't want to compete with children. Famous scenes on YT of Ru Paul et al having hissy fits at some Asian guy telling them their show sucked - but somebody had to do it, so it might as well be the best vocalist in the world. So that showed guts. I think he's ambitious, and wants to make his name across 5 continents. America has been the predominant force in popular music for 70-90 years now, and in the era of record, CDs, video, internet, and social media, it's influence has been unprecedented. So he's been influenced by it, as this song shows, and he wants to have a crack at it. Will he be ruined in the attempt? Fame is seductive, and fatally so. We are all human, and fallible. So time will tell. On his side are high intelligence and musicality, strong values and the grit to stand by them, innate humility, love of family and his own culture. I hope he doesn't try too hard for America - if anyone should be making an effort it's the US. But I don't think he will struggle to find an audience there that accepts him as he is. It might not be Billboard 100 stuff, but really, who cares these days. You should check out some of the new songs he has done with Igor Krutoy (world's wealthiest musician) that really suit his voice, and also respect it. They clearly love each other in a father-son kinda way. He's a great mentor to the young man, and will give him a load of wisdom. Try Love is Like a Dream, Your Love, and Know. Really sophisticated songs, but pretty easy to listen to as well. They would fill a show at Las Vegas or Carnegie Hall without any problems. And he's just 27, so maybe he can do some dance records as well.

Dimash only travels with his family and in competitions he forfeits 1st place so others can win and also make success he knows his at the top but he keeps it humble and considerate towards others. He knows if he wins Competitions then the "system" will want to control him but he doesn't allow it. You are the first coach who ever begged Dimash to stay where he is with his songs. Sometimes people want to break free from what they usually do, but not with Dimash. There was some inclination or pressure to do so if you listen to some of his current songs. To me, he is like an endangered species. I learn that he has his own production and studio and has declined many major record labels so far.

Don’t worry about him getting the right song. He is already working with Walter Afanasieff to produce a new song for the US market. I’m sure that 2022-2023 will be the years that Dimash turns the US Music Industry on its head! If you know anything about Dimash [watch some of his interviews on YT], there is one thing of which you can be assured! He will conquer the US market as an independent artist on his own terms, and as someone who tells the large labels that nobody will ever control him or his music!

@@tomanderson6140 @Nancy Bell Dimash simply has to do Ellen, the View, the Late Show with James Corden, and sing Adagio like he did on the Singer, and the buzz created from his performances will cause a Tsunami in the Entertainment World. People in the USA often say (as well as the rest of the World), “How did I not know about him?!!” In fact, I am sure that his name recognition is less than 3% in the USA. The answer to that question is actually quite simple. 7 out of the 8 largest multinational media corporations are located in the USA! 6 of them are headquartered in SoCal. When they promote an artist, the world knows whom that artist is! Dimash’s marketing team has done an awesome job using YT as a vehicle to promote him. However, YT can only take you so far! Dimash has to do a “shake and bake!l” He has to cause earthquakes in LA for the entertainment industry and to become white hot on the US market. Doing that, he will cement his legacy worldwide. I feel that this is the advice that both Krutoy and Fabian have given him. “Go west, young man. Go West!!” PS I am sure their second piece of advice was to get an attorney that “ eats nails for breakfast and spits bullets for lunch!”

This was a competition in China. He was supposed to be there for only 2 episodes. After the first episode, he sang S.O.S., he was so popular that they had to get him guards. This was 2017 and Dimash was 22 years old. He was the youngest performer and the only non-Chinese person. They called him, Little Imported Brother. Because Dimash was so very popular they had him on the whole series. They had to make clothes for him. They made new clothes for every episode. Dimash is 6’3”. a little taller than the average Chinese man. In this show he went up against professional Chinese singers. This was not the first competition Dimash was in. He’d been in several competitions since he was a child. Dimash came in second place. They invited him back the next year to perform as a guest. 😊

Dimash proved allready several times he stays at his own musical freedom and choices. They made allready enough money, so that’s not their goal. Don't get me wrong Jessie J is very good, however, the year before Dimash should have won and a huge shakeup, officials were fired, platforms for regulation on voting were changed. Sandy Lam who is very good won but Dimash was considered a wild card and an outsider. The following in walks Jessie J. from England or UK and ends up winning. There is a video of her singing all the songs she sang for the contest and it is a WOW. But there might have been a little, we better not screw this up again!! Sandy Lam was so good too, by the way in the contest she is 51 years old. There is an old saying, anything you can do an Asian kid under ten can do it better!! Put in Jessie J. and the song Flashlight!! Yeah close to 600 million hits. Then put in Celine Tam, Flashlight she here is 7 years old!! The female counterpart to Dimash is "SO HYANG" a Korean singer!! Best female singer. Put in "YOU RAISED ME UP" she had Pneumonia at the time!! Dimash learnt I love you in mandarin to thank the Chinese people of the love and support that he has received from them which I thought was lovely. Dimash made this a song that I now love, I’ve never cared for the song before this. Lionel Richie was angry at how well he sung the song and banned him from ever singing it again, which is very childish, vitas did the same after opera 2, vitas does not sing the chorus and that’s why he never sings it live, it’s well known in Russia that another singer sung the chorus, vitas threatened to sue Dimash but settled for him never singing it again, then vitas released another version of opera 2, then tried to copy a lot of things as Dimash but he failed miserably and opera 2 by vitas is still poor. Dimash describes singing as a sport. What you don't understand is that there is no push or strain in his voice, at all. Singing with dedication since age 5 as well as active in multiple sports, his ability is across the full spectrum of voice and is stunning. Dimash is already an international superstar whose first album went platinum in 37 seconds and triple that in 3 hours. He did a 2 plus hour concert in NY before the plague, which halted his tour.

He has concerts taped online, so you can watch exactly how he takes care of his voice. He does everything you suggested (substitute dancers for jugglers). He takes time to talk to the audience, he brings in other talent, he just keeps mixing it up - and he always gives himself time for a break. The Singer is one of the most difficult contests anywhere - it's open by invitation to established artists only. Dimash had already won a number of regional international competitions when he was tapped for this. He came to their attention after he performed for the Chinese premier at a diplomatic event in Kazakhstan. SOS was the first song he performed for that competition, and he blew everyone out of the water. The vid got over 50 million views overnight, and he woke up a superstar in China. He lived there, in Beijing, for 3 years, nailing it down. (His first album released in China went gold in 37 seconds). He had planned to limit himself to China for that time - but he got a call from Russian Igor Krutoy, a childhood hero, and couldn't refuse. In Dec of 2019 he had his first solo concert in the US (Barclays Center, sold out) and that was supposed to be part of a world wide tour that was stopped because of Covid. Rumors say he's headed to the US as soon as things are secure here. Watch his 12/2019 Barclays concert - he's not dumbing anything down, and he's getting the love. Complete with the audience singing his Kazakh song, Dididau, IN KAZAKH, with him. That astonished me, given our reluctance to engage in other languages... he's truly one of a kind.

If 600 Million heard the video overnight, that would mean that 42% of the entire Chinese population - from new born babies to great grand ma - all tuned in during a few hours overnight to listen. I have trouble believing that.... If you remember your source, I"d love to know.

The version of "Hello" we all didn't know we needed. Also, Dimash is well known and well off. America is basically the only country where he's not well known. It's not about the listener, it's about what the industry chooses to produce. In one of his interviews he said that he has contracts with producers almost all over the world except the USA because he's not happy with the terms of the contracts, and it has nothing to do with the money.

Don't worry. He's staying independent, so nobody can tell what he should/shouldn't do, and he has full control of his art.

@Just want the Best voice I was there in London on that consert . I went from Sweden to London just to hear him . It was people from 63 countries there and he did not want to disappoint them . I did not even know he was unwell

At some point, you may want to return to Dimash’s “Samaltau”. This time watch the Tokyo Jazz Festival 2020 version. It is a truly lovely piece and worth your second glance. Dimash is such a patriot of his homeland and the critique you gave it was rather disrespectful. Please try it again. Thanks!!

Smart comments! We all pray he does not go commercial for the sake of getting popularity, but I ~really~ doubt it knowing his mind set, he's father managing him and the way they approach music. Dimash is known for being stubborn in terms of not letting people telling him what he should do, he sees music as art really, not a product, so we're safe he is not a sell out. Peace!

"Screaming" is so remedial. It was an American's way to try and popularize Dimash... being fair to his other songs, this song is so beneath the quality of songs that he has performed so far. He uses the song "Screaming" as his run-around-the-audience song at the end of the concert. I wouldn't recommend a great vocal teacher, producer and writer to listen to that song. It would be a waste of time.

His voice gives me chills when he does those runs and holds those notes. Amazing Dimash. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 🔥 🔥 🔥 Btw- Dimash has modeled and is always in touch with the latest designers around the world. He does dress very stylish and sometimes trendy. He is unique in every aspect as an artist.
