From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. Love your reaction, thank you!! Dimash said in an interview that he feels sorry for the dancers who try to teach him moves because he is terrible at it and it takes them a long time. In a few videos he looks awkward, but more recently he does very well! 😃 🕺🕺

I am sure you noticed that Dimash is a super fan of Michael Jackson. He even did a video that was a tribute to MJ. There is also a video where he does dance, but I cannot think of which one it is. Dimash had stated that he is not really a good dancer and it takes a while for him to learn the steps. Michael Jackson is one of his idols and he said that he sometimes feels as if MJ is on the stage with him. Thank you for your videos. I love your reactions and just watching you enjoy Dimash's music. I'm sure folks are gonna ask that you do 'Unforgettable Day--Gakku, but, the orchestra and background singers took it to another level when he sang it on "The Singer 2017. That is the show that opened the world to Dimash. It was a singing competition for professional Chinese singers only...until they invited Dimash. He was the first foreigner and the youngest in the show's history. The others were 12-39 yrs. his senior. He won second place, only because they had to save face. The woman who did win was a beloved and respected singer in China. Some of the other singers were better than her, in my opinion, and Dimash out-sang them all. They did show true courtesy and respect for Dimash and sort of took him under their wings because he was so young and away from home, family, and friends. The day after his first song, they had to provide him with security, and he had over 6 million followers on Weibo, the Chinese version of Instagram. So, if you can, please also check out Autumn Strong, Adagio, All By Myself, and Confessa/Diva Dance from that show as well. He was AMAZING!!!!
