Think it's a good idea for u to listen to his performance of this in the singer competition. He was I'll n had no voice. He had to go to hospital, they gave him 5 injections into his throat, and told not to sing high notes. Dimash performed the song, just amazing. Ps. Could u please lift your video a bit higher cause we can't see the subtitles. Thanks,

“Daybreak” - At his first concert in Bastau: This song tells the sad story of a Chinese boy (Quon Yan), who along with his family, suffered a cable car accident in Xingyi city in Guizhou province, where many people died, but the boy's parents held him up with their hands and he survived, though the parents died. The song was written and composed by the boy's adoptive mother (Han Hong) and Dimash sang the song for the first time in Mandarin on “The Singer 2017”, but he had a sore throat and sang through injections. The doctor said that if he sang high notes, he would never sing again... He sang! Then he made this wonderful version, already cured, at his show in Bastau!

Not to worry. The "Daybreak" from the this Concert is my favorite of the 2 versions. I love the look of shock of the security guard about 6 minutes in.🤭😂🤣😂 I used to cry for this performance, not so much for the story, but because Dimash is so thin and sickly looking for this performance. A few years overworking and too much unfamiliar food played havak on his system.😔 When going through The Singer performances, you can skip Uptown Funk. 🙄Dimash had fun but most people don't like it much. Many Dears believe it below his normal standards.🫤 Don't forget to do Go Go Power Rangers which he did just after The Singer. Kind of a "Rock Star Dimash"🤩 Great reaction👍 🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

It's funny you say that cos I did a reaction to uptown funk if if I remember rightly I said it wasn't his best with his English and that at the time but I did say tbf it showed a more up beat funky side of himself but from his performance iv seen so far I think I love these kinds of performances so far. He seems to be able to emotionally attach himself to the lyrics. I don't know bout his health tho I always Fort he looked in good shape tbh ?

@@jbreacts There are several different performances where Dimash was under the weather when he performed. Usually, he is so professional that nobody notices. I just discovered and subscribed today so have not had time to check out your catalogue yet. I like Uptown Funk but it rarely gets many views. Dimash literally becomes the song, most of the time.😏

Dimash has it all and there are people, who cannot digest it. I have no idea, what hatred brings into their lives, but that's the way it is 🤷🏼‍♀️

There was a cable car in China that crashed down, as a result of being over-filled fell, killing 14 people. One young couple held their infant son above their heads, sacrificing themselves to save their child. "Daybreak" is the tribute and lament of that young boy for the parents he'll never know. The song's writer later adopted that young boy. The first time I heard this song was this same rendition in the Bastau concert. It made me cry though I can´t understand chinese and the video had not subs. I still cry now with this song every time it sounds

This is such a beautiful song & Dimash always conveys the emotion so well. He first heard this when he was 10 yrs old & was so moved by it, he never forgot it. Yes, he sang this on the Singer show. Please watch the long clip on it as it shows him overcoming the worst thing for a singer. Thank you do much 😊🙏💞

Gloria Wu’s channel that is linked to The Singer version is pretty amazing too because it gives the backstory to the song. In that version Dimash actually lost his voice, was the first to sing that time as well. It makes me cry every time
