Adagio was written by Lara Fabian, in both English and Italian versions. She started training at 6 yrs old, she composes/writes songs and lyrics, and plays instruments. She also acts and dances. You should definitely hear her voice. Start with her concert From Lara With Love. Adagio, You're Not From Here, Broken Vow, or Je Suis Malade. You will love her. There's a reason Dimash admires her.

Dimash is incredibly talented. He sings, composes beautiful music, arranges all of the music for his performances, plays very well at least 7 different instruments!!! Adagio is by Lara Fabian. She, personally congratulated Dimash for the performance. He plays piano, dombra (traditional instrument), drum, guitar and xylophone and probably more. He is incredible to say the least.

His father Kanat flew in from Kazakhstan after the competition had started. The first glimpse we get of him is in Opera 2 - in a couple of shots - he's the man at the end who does the air-punch. After he was done singing, Dimash (still only 22 at this time) was thanking everyone and his father stood and approached the stage. When Dimash caught sight of him he eyes lit up. He finished thanking the orchestra then quickly want down and they had a big hug while the moderator announced who he was and had not told Dimash he was coming because he didn't want to affect his performance. It was sweet. Kanat was walking with Dimash back to the contestant room and Dimash kept asking "Did I do well?" And of course Kanat, looking very proud, said "Yes!"...at one point they had another hug and Dimash said Kanat's ear, "I miss you - I want to go home." Both his parents appear in the audience in a later performance. As you react to more Dimash I am sure others will join me in suggesting his performance with his father and his mother, Svetlana. Both are singers; in fact, Svetlana is a soprano singer at the Aktobe (big city in Kazakhstan) Philharmonic Society, Their performance of "A Song for Mom" is great! One thing his fans (Dimash calls his fans his "Dears") love aside from his voice is that Dimash is a kind, modest person. He is constantly talking and interacting with his Dears and takes every opportunity to express his gratitude to and love for them. He understands he is a role model and tries to be a good one. For example, he was asked in an interview about other singers and he replied (I paraphrase), "You can not compare singers. Each one has their own skills and their own dreams." Well, that's my big novel - I'm just so happy you are becoming a Dear! DKIFC/USA

Dimash plays piano, dombra, drums and guitars. Composes and arranges songs too. He's multi talented.

Wait till you see Dimash sing DAIDIDAU. He plays a traditional Kazakh Instrument called a Dombra. He plays others, but I do not want to give it away. You can find the order of songs from Singer on Wikipedia. It will also give the ranking and language sang in. Plus all you would want to know about Dimash including all his awards to date.

Late Autumn was beautifully sung by Dimash. And Unforgettable Day was composed by Dimash at age 19.

His parents will be at the final Singer contest with the Tribute to M.J. Dimash's Dad did fly up for support surprising Dimash after Opera 2. After all, he was in a new country where he did not understand the language. Some people watched all 13 songs of Dimash on Singer just because of all the requests. If you need a good cry, watch Hua Chinyu performing DAD I'M HOME. I have never heard an audience so quiet so long after a song except maybe for Dimash.

Please, PLEASE react to his performance of "Late Autumn" - it's the one song that is as equally beautiful and heart wrenching as his take on "SOS- a Soul's Plea For Help" >> You won't regret it!!! (It's also one of his "I Am A SInger" episodes, like this one... I don't know how in the world it happened, as it seems IMPOSSIBLE - but Dimash didn't win this contest between professional singers [he was the unexpected, unknown player; apparently they always have a relatively new/unknown singer with incredible singing chops on the show as a potential wild card... pretty smart, actually, as every person who performs in this show is AMAZING]).
