I recommend "S.O.S" if you haven't already watched it. And also, "Opera 2." An amazing and brilliantly unexpected selection.

He was born in Kazakhstan, gifted with perfect pitch from birth, and musical parents who put him in music academy at 5. I do hope you make good on your threat to research him and play more of his music. I LOVED your reaction---thank you for sharing that! This man may change your life, as he has done for so many people around the world. He's a kind, modest, GOOD, honest person who adores his parents,, siblings grandparents. He helps talented young singers get going in careers. He spend up to 5 hours a day training is voice and practicing for upcoming performances. This is all he has ever wanted to do, other than giving pleasure to his devoted audiences and fans, the latter of which he calls his "Dears." Finding oneself blown away by him (and deeply moved) is called "being Dimashified." Most of his songs are very different to each other. For example, check out 'Opera 2" (not really an opera) and then perhaps "SOS." Whoever recommended "Adagio" to you, definitely should have warned you what he can do. I seriously enjoyed your reaction to Adagio, and hope to see your reactions to his other songs, too. For some songs, it's best to get the "back story" before watching the song. Dimash is 6'3" tall and 25 yrs. old. I think he still lives with his parents, as a base from which he manages his career. Mom is an opera singer and dad is a composer, producer and director.

He was born with perfect pitch and a passion for singing, even in infancy. He started in the music academy at age 5, and since then he has been training every day for 2-5 hours. He stands 6'3" tall and he practices various sports, especially swimming, to keep his lungs at maximum. I'm going to suggest (beg) that you do "Ogni Pietra", also known as Olimpico. This song was written specifically to utilize Dimash's amazing range of 6 octaves and 5 half-notes. His friend and mentor, Igor Krutoy, came out of retirement just to write for this unique voice, since there is almost no music available for that kind of range. I also suggest that you try "Sinful Passions" and "Kazakhstan Song." When you look up the latter on KZread, look for the one with a picture of Dimash wearing a short black jacket and "schoolboy" white cuffs and collar. In that song you will see him full of joy, and looking very young. Thank you for a spectacular reaction! You're going to be very, very popular. Dimash's "Dears' (fans) really go wild for reactors who really, genuinely love Dimash and his music. He's a sweet-natured person, devoted to fans and family. Episode 1 SOS witnessed the "emergence" of this singer in China's version of the Voice (which takes place every two years, involves no spinning chairs/coaching, and features pro's instead of amateurs. No one in China had ever heard of him before, but scouts for the show found him in far off Kazhakstan. They apparently kept him as a secret, only to unleash him on the world as the very first performer of this years competition. It makes for hysterical viewing. His completion, all famous singers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc., go from slightly condescendingly supportive to OMG awestruck almost within the first few notes! It's also touchingly wonderful to see how the whole of China, AND his competition, embrace him so wholeheartedly throughout the completion's 14 weeks. Makes me want to travel to China and meet the people there! Very moving. Also worth noting are other singers with lovely voices, like Terry Lin, who practically adopts Dimash, and who Dimash jokingly begins calling Father. Good job on your first review.

Your first time reaction was great to watch with your "I beg your pardon"trademark!Dimash is a 23 year "tenor altino" (or what is known today as a Romantic tenor,in opera) singer from Kazakhstan.He began studying voice and piano at the age of five.Dimash stands at 6'3". His parents are honorary artists and well known in his country. Dimash has been singing in mostly singing competitions and he's won several.His vocal range is amazing.He can sing from C-C comfortably,and even higher to E5 and F5 exceptionally well.He's an emotional singer and an entertaining one,as u saw,and he's that way in all of his performances.He doesn't do just classical music but pop and ballads,also.He's even done a Bruno Mars song.A phenomenal singer.Yeah bukola,you've been hiding under a rock,but u can come out now and enjoy this artist like others have:-)

👍👍👍👏👏👏 welcome to Dimashmania!!! Dimash Kudaibergen is 23 years old, from Kazakhstan, and this was a program on a popular Chinese tv channel: Hunan TV. Singer 2017 was a contest for established Famous Chinese language singers who have already won at least one music award. This year they brought in a "wild card", you guessed it, Dimash. He was totally unknown in China, which is why, if you watch episode 1, the audience of 500, who are also the judges, welcomed him warmly, as it takes a lot of courage to dare compete on the program. His first performance on January 21, was SOS d'un Terrien en Detresse, which scored first place. By the very next day, he gained 2.4 million followers on weibo (the Chinese Facebook). Every week, each contestant performs a song and the scores are averaged every two weeks as a round, and the bottom two eliminated while two new challengers are admitted. Dimash scored first place three times, Adagio being the third, and Opera 2 the second one. After the tenth episode, the top three scorers compete on the semifinals and finals while the remaining contestants compete in episode 11 for their final ranking. Dimash came out second in the end, although to all of us Dimash fans, we know he is first in our hearts. The contest ended in late April by which time Dimash had appeared in tv programs, concerts , recorded movies theme songs and won two music awards. He also sang at the Cannes Film Festival. He returned to Kazakhstan to a national hero's welcome and held his first individual concert in Astana in June 27. By now he has garnered 6 or 7 music awards, and is busy producing his first album, and preparing for a world tour. Hi bukola, welcome to the tour de force , that is Dimash Kudaibergenov. He is from Kazakhstan, and he is participating in a Singing competition in China for established singers. This was originally a Korean competition called 'I am a Singer'. The show is now in China, where it's called Singer 2017. Dimash has taken the show by storm. I think that he is the only non-Chinese contestant. The show is hosted by HunanTV. In Episode 1 he performed SOS d'un terrien en dètresse. Episode 2 sang 'Opera 2' the one that you just reacted too, 'Adagio was from Episode 6. It's a song from famous French singer Lara Fabien. I could just go on. I think that they're at Episode 14 at the moment. You will have to be careful. HunanTV have a habit of giving reactors strikes. I've seen quite a few of his performances. He's an incredible performer and singer.

Габит Омаров "Kazakhstani singer" means a singer from Kazakhstan. What is the problem? Kazakh is his nationality not citizenship.

+ Avada Kedavra, Whole world say *Kazakh* which means also citizenship, -Kazakhstani- . Now how would you call loads of other people, for example: French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian (btw in Russia a lot of other ethnic groups - it's Federation, but why people say Russian then?). I think you understand my opinion.

environment According to Wikipedia: "The word "Kazakh" is often used exclusively for the Turkic ethnic group, while "Kazakhstani" can be used to refer to all citizens of Kazakhstan." Kazakhstan has more than 100 ethnic groups: Kazakh, Russian, Korean, Ukrainian, German, Uzbek and many many more. Therefore we use "казахи" word for Kazakh ethnic group and "казахстанцы" for Kazakhstani citizenship. BTW, in Russia they also use 2 different terms: "русские" for Russian ethnic group and "российские" for Russian citizenship. Same goes for Americans. The United States also has different ethnic groups and multicultural nations. For example, a person can be Italian by ethnicity but have an American passport.

Seven languages...current range 6 octaves and counting (it has increased). I've been waiting for you to react to him. Worth it!! Very good reaction. You must start to react to him with singer 2017 on hunan tv, episode 1 to 14, don't look on episode 11, he did not sing. This show is for professional singers only, you may want to react to some other competitors, you saw them on this video. To fully appriciate him start with this show, then go to his songs for movies and video game and do some of his song in his concert BASTAU. And do Dimash Kudaibergenov_XIII Eurasia International Film Festival. With that you will see what kind of artist he is. Diamsh is an accomplished musisian and singer. He plays alot of instrument, dance and sing.

Yea, he is from Kazakhstan, the largest landlocked country in the world, and used to be part of Russia. not Chinese but Muslim and speaks Russian, but sings mostly Russian or Chinese. He is 23 years old and 6’3”! This was China’s “Singer 2017”contest, like America’s Got Talent! Wait till you hear many of his other songs!
