Hey Jen. You’re not old enough to remember this style. This wasn’t just one person that he was emulating, this was a vocal style from developed in the hair metal genre. Bands like Great White, Whitesnake, Winger, Kix, were just a few. There were probably 50 bands that had that sound…. Some better than others, but…. You get the point. Love what you do! Thank you for what you do.

Jennifer! Rather on time today! I'm not familiar with this song either so nothing to compare it to. Yeah he stays pretty high with much of this one, I'd have trouble singing along IF I knew the song. Interesting song though. I wanted to look up the lyrics a few times during the video. "Tequila in his heartbeat, his veins full of gasoline" ... yikes! 😳 The guitarist is awesome too!
