guys, she is Uyghur and Salam is a common word in Uyghur language. For example, Arabs may be Christians, but to start speaking they say Marhaba or Salam. It is true that Salam is one of the names of Allah in Islam, but usage it in the language Uighur, Persian and Arabic are common and this has nothing to do with religion

Uyghur is predominantly muslim. They are Turkic ethnic group. Hence the arabic influence in their language. That greet Assalamu'alaikum is exclusively related to the religion especially for race that isnt using arabic as their language.

@@AmirulAsyraf-mq7bx Turkic is language family, Turkic speaking consist of many different ethnic groups. Uyghur is an ethnic group by itself, likewise, Sakha, Kazakh, Ubzek.....etc.

​@@AmirulAsyraf-mq7bx wrong, Salam alaikum literally translates to, peace be upon you. That's why everyone from any religion can say it, if they're native Arabic speakers. Actually I lived and grew up in Egypt, and they also use Allah when referring to God 😂 because it literally means the most high god, or the one & only God. I can't translate it perfectly in English but you get the gist. Ilah just means a god, God, the most supreme God/true God, or The God means Allah😅

Its not surprising. She already shown her skills in picking up different languages in other videos

It's because she was the only one ACTUALLY trying. Ofc, she has the advantage of speaking Uyghur which allows her flexibility to speak Arabic, but the others were downright apathetic to learning it. They didn't even try at all except maybe the front and center lady. There was one episode in Keep Running where Shirinay Gao taught the cast a couple of Uyghur words but only Kun and Angelababy actually bothered to pronounce them right. I'm starting to wonder if Chinese celebs are less open to other cultures 😅

Maybe they were told not to try to hard in order to make Dilraba stand out. It's not that long of a word that so many ppl wouldn't be able to remember it. I don't know Arabic either, but one can still repeat what they hear

Most of them even can't speak English properly (in China all students actually need to learn English from elementary school.), I think they are more like incompetent and easy to give up

It's a variety show to entertain the audience, like they're not learning the language because they need to. If I'm not mistaken, the show's content is picked by directors and other ppl, much like how kpop works, where the idols are just the ones on stage, but there are way more employees off-stage. So, yk the celebs you see on screen are there to do their job, they probably didn't choose to learn Arabic

Reba kan suku uygur yg terkenal sama muslimnya, aku pernah baca reba itu jadi artis karena massa kecilnya susah org tuanya juga susah terhimpit segalanya, akhirnya dia jadi artis pas masih kecil terus sampai sekarang pun masih, demi meningkatkan derajat keluarga reba, bener² terlove, aku suka sama reba gara² film apa gitu lupa udh lama pula filmnya ❤
