I love this. I'm just a Singer but I am knowledgeable about the Tabla as I am so fascinated with its sound. Pandita Anuradha Pal is an incredible player but I somehow feel that the stage setting mic cotrols with this particular performance here did not do her any justice.. her vocal mic was almost unheard and the harmonium could hardly be heard at times. Her Tablas should have been more emphasized with its sound projection. My thoughts. Overall, a wonderful show. :-) Peace

Whoever watches this i request all that please do not mis judge Indian classical music, especially Tabla watching this one. And please watch a few vdos of zakirji , shahid prvezji , also of emerging stars like vivek pandya , immediately after this one and then u will realise real greatness of Indian classical music and tabla

If u have come to a conclusion how would a women play tabla , then its too early , please search for Hetal Mehta Joshi of Banaras gharana and then decide how a women should play tabla, and what level of dedication and practice it requires to perform on a stage and to represent such great Gharanas to the world

Such a devastating demonstration of her lack of devotion, practice and patience , that i have ever seen in any other tabla player of a particular gharana, she is putting a shadow over the great aura of ustad zakir ji and punjab gharana, if zakirbhai ever come to watch this vdo then on very next moment he will surely stop watching and will call this dedicated ‘disciple’ and will tell her to quit playing tabla immediately ,
