Until grade 10, I went to school without any watch. I wished I had at least a cheap digital watch but none bought me any. Before my SSLC exam in 2002, my mother bought me an Sonata watch which then cost about 200 rupees. I used it until i completed my grade 12. I then moved to Bangalore and from the Majestic market near the underground subway, I bargained and bought a digital watch. Fast forward to 2023, I have a collection of 6 watches now. One Noice smart watch, one RS Motive smart watch, one Fastrack silver chain watch, two Fastrack leather strap watches, and an expensive Patek Philippe gifted by my wife.
