It's not the mic it's that the voices are coming out of the speakers located in an akward position in the front of the stage, not on the sides

Sorry, the voices were coming out from the side speakers facing away on the sides so it was either be on the back and hear the lyrics but not the band or see the band and barely the lyrics...

It's not lifeless, it's just a chapter and reflection obviously. I believe they will have more energy in new tracks. At least what they've jammed on the their podcast sounds fucking great

Oh man I highly, highly disagree. Deceiver is their best yet in my opinion, although I’m in love with it all. Their early stuff gets me hyped, alive, starry eyed. But THIS…is just a washing wave painting of emotion, substance, darkness, bliss and depth. It’s encapsulated the human experience. Each song is a shoegaze esque masterpiece of dreamy/intricate highs & lows. Just watching them perform this (despite low vocals) has taken my breath away far more than any other performance of theirs. Taker is one of my favourites.
