A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZread. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZread I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on KZread won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This KZread channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

The parts where they are waving their arms, looking like they are off balance, as so happens in an earthquake. That year Cali had a massive earthquake. It was so strong we experienced aftershocks on the east coast in Queens, NY. It caused a long, thin crack down one of the walls, at my parents house. It’s still faintly visible every so often when painting the walls, before it’s repatched. The earthquake inspired the dance.

This came out in 89. Two years later, an unknown signer would join Digital Underground on vocals... Tupac Shakur got his start from this. No joke. He was even backup when they appeared with Humpty in the movie Nothing But Trouble. So weird now to see Tupac as a backup for Humpty. Still think this is a fun song and it makes me nostalgic for my elementary school days.

This song was MASSIVE when it came out back in the day. This song DOMINATED the clubs in the summer of 1989. When this song would come on at the club EVERYBODY ....... I mean EVERYBODY would lose their minds. I remember seeing white people, Latin people, Asians, Arabs, African Americans going CRAZY dancing to this song. The low sub bass in this song sounds so good. We loved this song. Rome react to another group called Lords Of the Underground and their HOT 90s song called CHECK IT. Trust me BRUH !!!!!!!!!

The bass, with a subwoofer, is spectacular. Totally unique. The song is recognizable by just the first note. I was young when it was popular, but damn, people got hyphy instantly over this. Humpty's timing is so good -- from rapping to just talking it's unbreakable smoothness.

Something to keep in mind about Digital Underground was that they were the spiritual predecessors to LMFAO. They were skilled, and had good beats, but it was all about the fun. This flew into the face of a lot of rappers who were also big at that time, because rap had become political and hadn't turned into "see how much bling I got" like it is today. This was one of Shock G's side acts -- he created different characters (including Rackadellic, Butta Fly, the Piano Man, and MC Blowfish) as a way of putting out music that wasn't like his usual stuff without alienating his usual audience. When one of his side characters got popular, he ran with it. And he was so good at doing these characters that for a long while nobody realized they were all the same person. He gave Tupac his big break, and honestly he was one of the most influential and underrated voices of rap in his time.
