    Ehrwanz Dunno how he did it but an often used method for tracking a 3D moving object like a face is using PF Track (Google/YT it). You can then either use flat textures of your own, bend them and attach them to the track or use a 3D application and roughly model the shape of the head/face and apply textures there for a cleaner and more accurate result.

    Robert LC - Digital Artist I created this effect using Nuke, the 3D tracking was all done in Nuke then UV projected onto a rough 3D model of the face. I actually later went on to do use this effect on a short horror film which I hope to make a youtube video on soon.

    Trial4ward Hi there, yes this is possible with Nuke. I actually did this effect using Nuke.
