    Great video! Very inspirational! How will you mitigate or bypass ECU, ABS and Immobilizer (which are very common on modern bikes) with the m unit blue?

  • @Stuntex

    @Stuntex

    2 жыл бұрын

    You don't need to mitigate or bypass. You just need to plug in all units to AUX and save OEM connection between them, if it is. Saving an Immobilizer does not make sense with M-Unit, so you can cut it off.

    @@Stuntex, thanks for the reply. There are only 2 Aux input and output connections on the m unit blue. Is it ok to combine the ECU & ABS as one onto Aux 1 or 2? I'm intending to add leds at the rear onto Aux 1.

  • @Stuntex

    @Stuntex

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@albertpoon6740 Yes, two AUX2 outputs are not enough. We usually combine all energy consumers into one or two AUX2 outputs. But you need to count total power, because one AUX input takes about 110-120W. AUX 1 is usually used as relay to control something.

    How did you solved the lightbulb for the Alternator field flashing circuit? That's the only point I didn't saw in your video. Thanks for sharing:)

  • @Stuntex

    @Stuntex

    3 жыл бұрын

    MotoscopePro has Low Voltage message, which is adjustable. It does not have special light for "Alternator circuit". If you have special light for this - you can plug in OEM wire to it. We made it at our project K1100SX - there were enough lights for all warnings. First, here we wanted to plug in the Alternator wire to the only warning light at MotoscopePro, but it already had "Oil pressure" and "overheating", so we decided, that 3 warnings on one light are too much. Anyway, Low Voltage message is enough.

  • @lingling2924

    @lingling2924

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@Stuntex My understanding is that the Alternator needs the lightbulb because of the resistance of the filament to work correctly. Anyways thank you for your English videos or if not, for the English subtitles. your video Series of the K1100SX was on a very high level and enjoyable watching.

  • @Stuntex

    @Stuntex

    @@lingling2924 Yes, it's influence the RPM when it starts. In fact, at K1100SX (led light) and here (no light) it still works, and starts, if you add some throttle. Сontinuous work at idle speed after starting the engine - very non-standard situation. After 8000km of riding on K1100SX we never got such problem, and the bike had small capacity battery. Do you have this problem?
