Here is detailed installation of Motogadget electric components on cafe racer BMW K100RS 1985. We installed M-Unit Blue, M-Button relay, MotoscopePro gauge with Breakout box, M-Blaze Disc and Kelerman Bullet 1000DF turn signal, LSL Eighties headlight. We were able to implement the standard functionality of motorcycle: tachometer, speedometer, fuel low level, overheating, neutral gear. Also, here is installation of aluminium Motogadget mo grips on adjustable ABM multi clip-ons.

People that understand wiring are basically wizards to me
As a normal person who is terrified of motorcycle electrical systems the first minute of this video was pure heart attack

Love this! After I finish my turbo E30 build, I'm gonna start a K100 build with this same setup. Thank you for the great information!
It is definitely the most complicated video I have ever seen from the beggining to the end. I would like to start my K100 Cafe Racer next year, and all the features that you included and show at the end of the video are amazing, but definitely this is out of my area of Knowledge
Nothing else then respect for your skills. I was just checking KZread for inspiration to replace my headlight. I am ok with mechanical parts, but electric parts has always been a nightmare. Watching your first minute in your video make me think twice...in getting cheap after market headlights.
Freaking amazing. If I ever want to build one I’d send it to you. Amazing build👍👍👍
Must be wonderful when you know what your doing , I'd have ended up with a box of bits . Well done to you 👍
That was amazing.......well done!!!
Well done guys!
Fantastic video!!🤠
This was great.
Awesome job!!!!!
Superb, I will do this. 👍
Very good nice work 🤘🤘✌️
Well done, thats perfect 👌🤙😬

I’m very impressed, your work perfectly and video is f#cking good one. Madness. Spasiba

Very good work but hard
Great stuff, I plan to rewire my R80 from zero with a M unit. I was wondering, are you guys available to give a step by step tutorial on video (in exchange of a correct sum of money)?
watching you cut all those wires gave me full on anxiety lol
Really great and informativ vid! Thought I tried to find more information about the neutral gear converter and cant really find it, you guys have more information about it? Thx
Fantastic build. How did you mount the Munit speed sensor to the front forks/wheel, brake disk? Hope you can help.,
What kind of throttle did you use? Really good job and you did a great video
Great video! Very inspirational! How will you mitigate or bypass ECU, ABS and Immobilizer (which are very common on modern bikes) with the m unit blue?
@Stuntex
2 жыл бұрын
You don't need to mitigate or bypass. You just need to plug in all units to AUX and save OEM connection between them, if it is. Saving an Immobilizer does not make sense with M-Unit, so you can cut it off.

@@Stuntex, thanks for the reply. There are only 2 Aux input and output connections on the m unit blue. Is it ok to combine the ECU & ABS as one onto Aux 1 or 2? I'm intending to add leds at the rear onto Aux 1.
@Stuntex
2 жыл бұрын
@@albertpoon6740 Yes, two AUX2 outputs are not enough. We usually combine all energy consumers into one or two AUX2 outputs. But you need to count total power, because one AUX input takes about 110-120W. AUX 1 is usually used as relay to control something.
Could you please list what is needed to renew all wires. (Gadgets, control boxes etc..) thanks
Does any one know or have the wiring diagram to make the neutral switch converter so the green light only turns on when in neutral??
Hello, good job. Does ist work with Oil pressuresensor and overheat sensor on one connector to breaktoutbox and motorscope pro ?
Hold on .... start again .... where does the red wire go.... haha
Hey guys, huge fan of your work. I'm really after a solution for the gear switch indicator to neutral light converter. Do you have the wiring diagram posted anywhere for this? I'd really like to include it in my build if possible. CHeers, Kyle

Amazing Work! Do you have a solution for the tank sensor, which shows a lower resistance when the tank is full than when the tank is empty? The motogadget pro does not show the correct fill level.
@Stuntex

We don’t remember exactly, but in this case it works fine. We adjusted it in the gauge menu.
Got a wiring diagram?
Nice Job. May I know how does it cost in total for having all of the components you have shown in the video?

How did you solved the lightbulb for the Alternator field flashing circuit? That's the only point I didn't saw in your video. Thanks for sharing:)
@Stuntex
3 жыл бұрын
MotoscopePro has Low Voltage message, which is adjustable. It does not have special light for "Alternator circuit". If you have special light for this - you can plug in OEM wire to it. We made it at our project K1100SX - there were enough lights for all warnings. First, here we wanted to plug in the Alternator wire to the only warning light at MotoscopePro, but it already had "Oil pressure" and "overheating", so we decided, that 3 warnings on one light are too much. Anyway, Low Voltage message is enough.

@@Stuntex My understanding is that the Alternator needs the lightbulb because of the resistance of the filament to work correctly. Anyways thank you for your English videos or if not, for the English subtitles. your video Series of the K1100SX was on a very high level and enjoyable watching.
@Stuntex

@@lingling2924 Yes, it's influence the RPM when it starts. In fact, at K1100SX (led light) and here (no light) it still works, and starts, if you add some throttle. Сontinuous work at idle speed after starting the engine - very non-standard situation. After 8000km of riding on K1100SX we never got such problem, and the bike had small capacity battery. Do you have this problem?
@lingling2924

@@Stuntex Ah okay, and I tought I missed that part how you solved that. I'm building two K100 at the moment and thinking to replace the lightbulb with an Resitor....or your Route as you say that's easily working. Thanks a lot for your response :)
What kind of clutch and break lever setup are you using in this video? Where to buy?
I know the k100 and k1100 are different but can I use the same components for a 93 k1100 rs? Or do you have a write up on what you use? Thanks and great video and bike build.

For k1100 you should use fan relay.
How would you handle ABS? My K75 has it and it’s wired into a number of sensors and dash lights

Why is the kick stand on the right?
love the video but slow down on the instruction.
I would love to use this gauge on an electric bike that's 72 volts anyone know a way to convert the 12 volt display to a 72 volt with some sort of adapter ? Over the software not be possible to even change it to that
i have problem with starting my bike, checked the power no feed to the fuel pump, what wire or relay i need to change?

I want to buy the Handel bars what are they called and where can I order them
How come you used the OEM starter relay and not the 30A one built into the MO.Blue?
@Stuntex
3 жыл бұрын
In manual it’s recommended for starters with integrated relay. We don’t know the power of oem starter (it can be more than 600wt) The m-unit ports should work fine, but we used oem relay.
@BR.
Жыл бұрын
The starter pulls way more than 30A
What is master cylinder is that?
I'm installing the same system on the same bike. How did you hook up the speedometer? Did the bike already have an aftermarket magnet on the wheel or is it using the factory sensor?

We used a sensor from the motogadget gauge kit.
