Okay so the set 1.0 meta is looking like it’s starting to settle, but I’m really curious. What are y’all’s favorite deck to pilot in this format that might NOT be doing that well in the overall field? Lmk

Leopardmon Veedramon, Venommyotismon control, and greymon rush are my favorite decks to pilot right now

David Hsu here, I think worth noting, that bore out in my own play experiences, is once my list was public, copying it verbatim was no longer an option. Players, esp blue and green players, learned to adapt to the purple playstyle (and the tricks my deck depended on) which allowed for much less player errors.

Referring to your terror cluster comment: The card in itself is fantastic. I think since the game is fairly fresh, people are still in their previous card game mentality because of some other form of resource control. I think bomb cards like cluster or Gaia are way more impactful than people realize because of how mega dependent our win conditions rely on. Let’s be honest. Omnimon wins because of Omnimon. Not because of garurumon or because of wargreymon. It doesn’t matter if you delete their boss monster IF they don’t have an answer. In this game, you have 6-8 opportunities(megas) to close out your win. If your opponent has answers to your threats or deals with them, it doesn’t matter how much memory you have if you don’t have the answers to win. Terrors cluster does something the other color bombs don’t do. There is no deck search right now. You can’t go getting your boss mons back since they’re now at the bottom of your deck. I think people underestimate the power of option cards in this game for sure.

Hey dude, I'm a long time TCG player, mostly in competitive Pokemon, YuGiOh, and a little casual Magic during college as well as being a life long Digimon fan (I even played the train wreck of the English release of the OG card game competitively as a kid). I gravitated to your channel once you started posting digimon tcg vids because of the sheer amount of videos you post about digimon and your obvious knowledge of tcg’s and if you haven’t already i think it would be great content if you posted videos for people trying to get into tcgs. You know more videos on certain lingo that you use, the world of tournaments in general, and now etiquette for web cam tournaments. I think that’s your edge over other you tubers, your overall knowledge of tcgs and your ability to make it digestible.

wounder how to improve the red/yellow shinegreymon deck i tried using the other day..... but know it ain't showing up till uhh 4.0??? (or atleast the red versons of risegreymon and shinegreymon) did put list on the discord thing if ya want to see full thing steven

I hope they make an online game like Pokémon has. Way more people would get into it. Also this video helped my preparation

How much does a Booster Box cost?

Will you do a mega zoo decklist for 1.0. I am working on a list, the deck looks at lots of fun.

I am a firm believer in having removal in my decks even if I am playing a hyper aggressive deck. That's why as bad as Cocytus Breath is, if I'm playing Blue, I'm playing Cocytus Breath. Note: Vanguard is different, probably the only card game where I am fine with not having removal.

Why do purple players play 1 Myotismon? I cant figure it out.

The 1 myotis is often a filler slot to have a cheap evo into lillith/beelze when needed. In general, most purple lists actually end their evo chain at lvl 4, then just hard cast kimera and evo him. This is more memory intensive, but purple's goal is often to go wide rather than tall. Purple,. unlike most colors, is not actually trying to evo from tama all the way to champion.

It’s to help round out there lvl 5 numbers so if they want to digivolve for cheaper Millie turns/have easier access to lvl 6 plays

@@ryanwhite3393 without actually seeing your list, generally no. It's too slow a card and all your champions generally preferred to be used as is (blocker, devi as free removal, wizard as draw)

I am sad that black doenst make any results, hope that 1.5 changes that!

It will. EVERY color has something super good in that format. And we dont get set 4 until may so we'll be able to really settle into it too its gonna be fun

yesterday i bought a Purple deck for the same amount

dayum I had to skip to 12min mark right off the bat...

1.0 meta is basically an Omnimon or bust meta. *yawn*. I cant wait for 1.5 to shake this up.

if only adp pokemon players have the same vision of not playing the best deck in format...
