It seems like you have a construction company lol... I am no longer in my youth as well but I still prefer jacks, wedges and the good old crawling and body-slide technique... it keeps me fit lol... thinking about the future maybe importing a low-cealings car lifter from germany not a bad idea... but hey, cars here where I live are way lighter

They were not salvageable. I tried to make it come apart like a puzzle but the concrete disagreed. Lol

Give us some thoughts on the sizing after you’ve used it a bit. I’m making one end wider for big trucks. Why the splayed pockets versus square insets?

@@MattBerk the 45 angles were to hopefully cause less air pockets on the concrete during the pour. The size is specific to the lifting advantage of the hydraulic floor. To get 7 ft of rise it needs to be 10 ft long. I am 6'5 so I made it to my height plus space for the lift. The height needs to be 70% of the length for an xframe. The width I wanted to not bang my elbows that was about 42 inches but I definitely could have went less wide. I didn't want a longer pit 10 ft working area reaches everything on a 20 ft truck no problem if you reverse in for the back work. This is all discussed in my detailed videos in the playlist. All questions should be able to answered.

@@MattBerk Because my truck sits higher of the ground I can reach al the way to the outside of the truck no problem at all no stretch required. It gives me enough space to jack under the frame at the current width.

@@MattBerk i would plan to do the floor as a seperate pour and have the concrete way more wet everything was so thirsty the 6-7 slump was not enough and the rocks got caught on rebar so maybe a smaller/smoother rock.
